2020 Czech Lion Awards
2020 Czech Lion Awards ceremony will be held in March 2021. Awards underwent changes as new Categories were added. Animated film and Web works will be newly Awarded in their respective Categories. Some categories became open for Television and Web works as a result of increase in Television work quality. Václav Kopta was announced to host ceremony scheduled for 6 March 2021. Nominations were announced on 18 January 2021. Shadow Country was nominated in 15 categories while Charlatan and Havel in 14 categories. Charlatan was awarded the Best film award while Shadow Country ''Shadow Country'' is a novel by Peter Matthiessen, published by Random House in 2008. ''Caught in the Net'' ( cz, V síti) is a 2020 Czech documentary film by Vít Klusák about sexual predators on the internet. The film documents three actresses pretending to be adolescent girls on social media who are contacted by sexual predators that try to seduce them and start sending them photos of their genitalia. Sexual predators appearing in the film attracted focus of police after the release of the film and at least one of them was convicted at the court. The film was crowdfunded through HitHit during which filmmakers raised 3 million Czech koruna. Kryštof Hádek
Kryštof Hádek (born 10 March 1982 in Prague) is a Czech actor. He studied at the People's School of Art and at the Prague Conservatory, from which he was expelled in the fourth year for a high amount of absences, which originated when Hádek began to actively pursue acting while still studying. Between 2003 and 2004 he studied a year and a half at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Hádek's first major role was in the 2001 film ''Dark Blue World'' by Jan Svěrák, 2001, in which he played Sergeant Karel Vojtíšek. Jan Cina (born 20 March 1988) is a Czech actor and singer of Romani descent. He has an acclaimed career as a dancer, actor and vocalist in the Czech Republic.
