Belarusian Premier League Reserves Championship is an annual competition for the reserve teams of Belarusian Premier League clubs. Current: 2020 Belarusian Premier League Reserves Championship History The competition was established in 2001. Prior to 2001, most of Belarusian Premier League clubs had their reserve teams or affiliated farm clubs playing in lower divisions of Belarus football league system. After the reserve league creation, all Premier League clubs created the new reserve teams to participate in it, and most of old reserve teams were folded, either immediately or in next several years. Several Premier League clubs with developed youth system still continue running separate farm clubs in the Belarusian First League, First or Belarusian Second League, Second League. FC Minsk ( be, ФК Мінск) is a professional football club based in Minsk, Belarus. They play in the Belarusian Premier League, the highest tier of Belarusian football. Their colours are red and navy blue. History The club was established in 2006 and was based on the Belarusian First League club '' Smena Minsk''. FC Minsk took over Smena's license and was able to start immediately operating in the Belarusian First League without having to first play in the Second League, the third tier in Belarus. In the club's inaugural season in the First League, they were able to finish in first place guaranteeing them promotion to the Belarusian Premier League. FC Smolevichi ( be, ФК Смалявічы, russian: ФК Смолевичи), is a Belarusian football club based in Smolevichi, Minsk Oblast. History The team was founded in 2009 as Vigvam Smolevichi. The same year, they debuted in the Minsk Oblast championship. In 2010, they joined the Belarusian Second League. They were renamed to Smolevichi in 2011 and to Smolevichi-STI in 2012. History Origins and predecessor clubs There was competitive football in Slutsk as early as 1913, with a Slutsk team entering the third season of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic, republican competition in 1926, but it did not enter a BSSR competition again until 1936. FC Gorodeya (, ''FK Haradzeya'') was a Belarusian football club based in Gorodeya, Nesvizh Raion, Minsk Oblast. History The team was founded in 2004 as a futsal club. They played in the Minsk Oblast championship and later in the Belarusian futsal championship and Cup. In 2007, they debuted in the Minsk Oblast football championship as well as the Belarusian Cup.
