Jeffrey Cariaso
Jeffrey Joaquin Cariaso is a Filipino-American coach and retired professional basketball player. He is the former head coach of the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He also played for various PBA teams, mostly with Alaska, for 15 seasons. He is known as "The Jet". He is also the basketball operations director of Slam Magazine Philippines. Playing career Alaska He was first drafted by the Alaska Aces (then known as the Alaska Milkmen) during the 1995 PBA draft as the sixth overall. During his rookie year, he won the Rookie of the Year Award. And in only his second year in the league, he achieved a rare Grand Slam with the Aces where he was instrumental in that majestic championship run, scoring the winning free throws in the All-Filipino Cup final against the Purefoods Hotdogs. ឴ Victorino Aranas Manuel (born June 18, 1987) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the San Miguel Beermen of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Amateur career Manuel possessed tremendous athleticism and agility uncommon for athletes his size. Jeron Alvin Uy Teng (born March 21, 1994) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). As a PBA player, he usually starts at the swingman position but occasionally plays as a power forward during the Philippine Cup. A renowned prodigy, he holds multiple high school records for the Xavier Golden Stallions. After his famous high school career, he played for the De La Salle Green Archers in the UAAP with equally great success. Joseph Evans "JVee" D. Casio (born September 1, 1986) is a Filipino basketball player for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted first overall by the Powerade Tigers in 2011 PBA draft. Early life and high school career Casio started playing basketball at the age of seven. He started by watching his brother play at their village and started his formal training during his stay at San Beda College, where was part of the San Beda Red Cubs squad in the NCAA Juniors Division. He helped the team sweep the eliminations of the 78th season of the NCAA. They faced the Letran Squires for the finals and won the 2002 NCAA juniors basketball championship, in which he was named the finals MVP. Robert Conrad Dixon Herndon Jr. (born July 16, 1993) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player for the San Miguel Beermen of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The GlobalPort Batang Pier selected him as the sixth overall pick in the 2017 PBA draft. High school career Herndon was a three-year varsity player. In his senior year, he scored 17 points in the third quarter to lead his team to a win over Arcata. He then had a game-winning layup against Sacred Heart Prep. Abu Jahal Tratter (born January 9, 1993) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player for the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He played college basketball for the De La Salle University. Professional career Tratter was selected seventh overall during the 2018 PBA draft by the Blackwater Elite. On September 6, 2019, he was traded to the Alaska Aces for Carl Bryan Cruz.
