2020 2. Divisjon
The 2020 2. divisjon (referred to as PostNord-ligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norwegian football third-tier league season. The league consisted of 28 teams divided into 2 groups of 14 teams. The groups were announced by the NFF on 7 December 2019. Under normal circumstances, the league would have been played as a double round-robin tournament, where all teams play 26 matches. However, this season, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the league was split after 13 rounds, meaning the teams only played each other once in this stage. The seven best ranked teams in each of the two groups qualified for a second stage, the promotion groups, where they were to play six more matches. The seven worst ranked teams in each of the two groups did not play any more matches after the first stage, and no teams were relegated. The 2020 season was the 115th season of competitive association football, football in Norway. The season was originally scheduled to start on 4 April, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway the football season was delayed. On 7 May 2020, the Norwegian government allowed the league to start on 16 June 2020. The men's 3. divisjon and women's 2. divisjon (women), 2. divisjon, along with all other lower divisions, were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Norwegian Football Cup, men's football cup was also cancelled. Sotra Sportsklubb is a Norwegian sports club from Sotra, Hordaland. Founded as ''Idrettslaget Øygard'' on 7 June 1945, the club's current activities consist of athletics, basketball, boxing, football, handball and gymnastics. History IL Øygard Idrettslaget Øygard was founded 7 June 1945 in Fjell municipality at Sotra. 13 June 2007, IL Øygard met Brann in the second round of the 2007 Norwegian Cup. Idrettsforeningen Fram, better known as Fram Larvik to distinguish it from other sport clubs, is a sports club from Torstrand in Larvik, Norway. Norwegian reserve football teams compete at all levels of league football within the Norwegian football league system apart from the top two divisions, Eliteserien and 1. divisjon. The highest league these teams can currently enter is the 2. divisjon, set at the third tier of the league system. The reserve teams are attached to their first teams with a "2" suffix and must play in a lower league than the first team. Furthermore, if a club's first team plays in the 1. divisjon, the reserves team cannot play in the 2. divisjon either. If a reserve team ends up at a promotion spot when it is not allowed to be promoted, the promotion is awarded to best following team in the league standings which is allowed to be promoted. Moss Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club, founded on 28 August 1906. They play in the 2. divisjon, the third highest division in the Norwegian football league system. They played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937-1939, 1953-1954, 1977-1985 (9 seasons), 1987-1990 (4 seasons), 1996 and 1998-2002. The club came close to earning promotion to the top flight in 2005, but lost the play-off against Molde. Stadium Moss play their home games at Melløs stadion, which has a capacity of around 10,000.
