2020 16 Hours Of Hockenheimring
The 2020 Hankook 16 Hours of Hockenheimring was the 1st running of the 16 Hours of Hockenheimring. It is the fourth round of both the 2020 24H GT Series and the 2020 24H TCE Series, the third round of the Europe and Continent Series, and will be held from 5 to 6 September at the Hockenheimring. It was the first 24H Series event to take place in Germany. The race was won by Gijs Bessem, Harry Hilders and Marcel van Berlo. Schedule The race was split into two parts, the first being 8 hours and the second being 8 hours long due to noise restrictions. The 2020 Coppa Florio or 2020 Coppa Florio Hankook 12 Hours of Sicily was the first running of the Coppa Florio since 1981. It was the fifth round of both the 2020 24H GT Series and the 2020 24H TCE Series, the fourth round of the Europe Series and was held from 9 to 11 October at the Autodromo di Pergusa. It was the first international racing series to take place at the Autodromo di Pergusa since 2012. The race was won by Frédéric Fatien, Jordan Grogor, Mathieu Jaminet and Robert Renauer. The 2020 Hankook 12 Hours of Monza was the 1st running of the 12 Hours of Monza. Tim Coronel
Tim Alfa Coronel (born 5 April 1972, in Naarden) is a Dutch racing driver. He is the twin brother of World Touring Car Championship driver Tom Coronel. Racing career Tim made his first steps in racing by winning the Dutch Citroën AX Cup in 1994 as a 22-year-old. He followed this with a move into single-seaters finishing seventh and then fifth in two years in the Formula Opel Eurocup. In 1997 he raced in German F3. He moved to Touring Cars in 1998 racing a Mitsubishi Carisma in the Dutch Championship, in which he finished eleventh, then sixth and then third over three years. He raced a Lexus IS200 in 2001, finishing fifth, and finished fourth in a Renault Clio in 2002. He won the Dutch Alfa Romeo 147 Challenge in 2003 and the Dutch Porsche GT3 Cup in 2005. The first generation of the coupé and convertible range of the BMW 2 Series subcompact executive car consists of the BMW 2 Series (F22) for the coupé version and BMW 2 Series (F23) for the convertible version. Designed to solely be destined for racing with no road-legal version planned, the car is a homage to the original Ligier JS2 introduced in 1972. Vincent Radermecker (born 5 July 1967) is a Belgian auto racing driver. Racing career Early years After starting in racing through karting in his home land of Belgium in 1986, he drove in the Benelux Formula Ford Championship. He was champion in his second year in the series in 1991. In 1992 he raced in Great Britain, with a drive in the British Formula Ford Championship, finishing fourth on points. He finished as runner-up in the 1993 Formula Opel Euroseries, before returning to Britain with Formula 3. Benjamin Leuchter (born 22 November 1987) is a German racing driver currently competing in the World Touring Car Cup. Having previously competed in the ADAC TCR Germany Touring Car Championship, German Formula Three Championship and Formula BMW amongst others. Racing career Leuchter began his career in 2002 in Karting, he continued in karting until 2003. In 2004 he switched to the Formula BMW series, he finished the season nineteenth in the championship standings that year. The following year he only took part in the first eight races of the season, but still finished fifteenth in the Formula BMW standings in 2005.
