2019–20 Zira FK Season
The Zira FK 2019–20 season was Zira's fifth Azerbaijan Premier League season, and sixth season in their history. Zira finished the season in 5th position and were scheduled to face Gabala in the Azerbaijan Cup semifinals before the season was ended prematurely due to COVID-19 pandemic in Azerbaijan. Season events On 8 October, Samir Abbasov left his role as manager of Zira by mutual consent. On 9 October, Zaur Hashimov was appointed as Zira's new manager until the end of the season. On 21 December, Zira announced the singing of Aghabala Ramazanov and Davit Volkovi on an 18-month contracts starting from 1 January 2020. On 11 January, Sony Norde was released by Zira. On 14 January, Alie Sesay joined Zira on an 18-month contract. On 21 January, Jovan Krneta returned to Zira, signing until the end of the season. FC Arda 1924 Kardzhali ( bg, ПФК Арда Кърджали) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Kardzhali, which currently competes in the First League, the top tier of the Bulgarian football league system. It was founded on 13 October 1924, as an association football branch of a larger sports society in the town. The club was reestablished in 2015, after its former entity was dissolved. Named after the Arda river, a tributary of the Maritsa, Arda's home ground is the Arena Arda in Kardzhali, which has a capacity of 15,000 spectators. OFK Bačka (Serbian Cyrillic: ОФК Бачка) is a football club based in Bačka Palanka, Serbia. In 2016, the club achieved promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga. Bojan Zogović ( sr-cyr, Бојан Зоговић; born 16 February 1989) is a Montenegrin footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Arsenal Tivat. The 2019–20 Azerbaijan Premier League was the 28th season of the Azerbaijan Premier League with Qarabağ being the defending champions.
