2019–20 Women's Volleyball Thailand League
The 2019–20 Women's Volleyball Thailand League is the 15th season of the Women's Volleyball Thailand League, the top Thai professional league for women's volleyball clubs, since its establishment in 2005, also known as CP Women's Volleyball Thailand League due to the sponsorship deal with Charoen Pokphand. A total of 8 teams will compete in the league. The season will begin on 18 January 2020 and concluded on 30 July 2019. This season will be organized by the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA) instead Thailand Volleyball Co., Ltd. The season started. Teams Eight teams compete in the league – the top six teams from the previous season and the two teams promoted from the 2019 Women's Volleyball Pro Challenge, Pro Challenge. The promoted teams are Diamond Food Volleyball Club, Diamond Food and Rangsit University Volleyball Club, Rangsit University. Khon Kaen Light Rail Transit
The Khon Kaen Light Rail Transit Project is a planned light rail transit system consisting of an initial 16 stations to serve Khon Kaen Province in north-east Thailand. A Phase 2 five-station extension is also planned. The line will have both at-grade and elevated sections. Fares are expected to be a flat 15 baht. As of 2020, construction has yet to start. History The original plan for mass transit in Khon Kaen consisted of a four line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network which was proposed in 2012. By 2014, a master plan for the BRT network had been finalised. However, in early 2015, Khon Kaen Mayor proposed converting the long North-South Red BRT line into a light rail line as part of Khon Kaen's Smart City development program and to integrate with the future planned North East high speed rail to Nong Khai. The Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand (DPO) is a Thai state enterprise under the oversight of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. Onuma Sittirak (, , ; born June 13, 1986, in Khian Sa) is a retired Thai volleyball player was a member of Thailand women's national volleyball team. She was born 13 June 1986 at Surat Thani, Thailand. Onuma graduated from Ratna Bundit University Career Onuma started playing volleyball as a spiker for Thailand's national team in 2006. In 2009, she helped the Thai team won the Asian Championship for the first time and was also awarded the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. During the tournament, she was called "Thailand's Toy Cannon" in an article by the Asian Volleyball Confederation.
