2019–20 UC Riverside Highlanders Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 UC Riverside Highlanders men's basketball team represented the University of California, Riverside in the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Highlanders, led by second-year head coach David Patrick (basketball), David Patrick, played their home games at UC Riverside Student Recreation Center, SRC Arena in Riverside, California as members of the Big West Conference. They finished the season 17–15, 7–9 in Big West play to finish in sixth place. They were set to be the No. 6 seed in the 2020 Big West Conference men's basketball tournament, Big West tournament. David Patrick (basketball)
David Patrick (born 21 February 1976) is an Australian college basketball coach who is the head coach for the Sacramento State Hornets men's basketball team. He is the former head coach of the UC Riverside Highlanders men's basketball team. He is the godfather of NBA player Ben Simmons. Playing career Born in Bermuda, and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Patrick arrived stateside in 1994, enrolling at Chapel Trafton High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he was district MVP and First Team All-Parish, while also being selected to play in the Louisiana State High School All-Star Game. In addition, Patrick continued to compete for Australia at the youth national level. The Washington State Cougars men's basketball team represents Washington State University and competes in the Pac-12 Conference (Pac-12) of NCAA Division I. The Pacific Tigers men's basketball team represents the University of the Pacific (United States), University of the Pacific. They are an NCAA Division I member, part of the West Coast Conference.
