2019–20 Syracuse Orange Women's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Syracuse Orange women's basketball team represented Syracuse University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Orange were led by thirteenth year head coach Quentin Hillsman. The Orange were seventh year members of the Atlantic Coast Conference and played their home games at the Carrier Dome. The Orange finished the season 16–15 and 9–9 in ACC play to finish in eighth place. As the eighth seed in the ACC tournament, they defeated Virginia in the Second Round before losing to Louisville in Quarterfinals. The NCAA tournament and WNIT were cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Previous season For the 2018–19 season, the Orange finished 11–5 in ACC play and 25–9 overall. Quentin Hillsman
Quentin Jerome Hillsman (born October 16, 1970) was the head women's college basketball coach for the Syracuse Orange. He held that position from 2006 to 2021 and is only the fourth coach in the 40-year history of the program. Early life Hillsman was born in Suitland, Maryland. He is the only child of a computer business consultant, Horace Jerome Hillsman, and music teacher, Joan Rucker Hillsman. After graduating from Forestville High School, Hillsman attended Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina, before transferring to St. Mary's College of Maryland for his sophomore season. With the Seahawks, he ranked third in assists (330) and eighth in steals (130) and also set the school's single-game and season assist record. The 2018–19 South Dakota State Jackrabbits women's basketball represent South Dakota State University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Jackrabbits, led by nineteenth year head coach Aaron Johnston, compete in the Summit League. They play home games in Frost Arena in Brookings, South Dakota. They finished the season 28–7, 15–1 in Summit League play to win the Summit League regular season. They were champions of The Summit League women's tournament and earn an automatic trip to the NCAA women's tournament where defeated Quinnipiac and upset Syracuse in the first and second rounds to advanced to their first sweet sixteen appearance in the Division I where they lost to Oregon. Owings Mills High School (OMHS) is a four-year public high school in Owings Mills, Maryland, United States. It is part of the Baltimore County Public Schools consolidated school district. History Construction for Owings Mills Junior-Senior High School began in 1978. Students were housed temporarily at Pikesville Junior High and Sudbrook Middle School during the construction. Proctor Academy is a coeducational, independent preparatory boarding school for grades 9–12 located on in Andover, New Hampshire. There are about 370 students. History Origin Proctor Academy first began as Andover Academy, established in 1848 by the town of Andover.
