2019–20 Standard Liège Season
The 2019–20 season was Standard Liège's 116th season in existence and the club's 8th consecutive season in the top flight of Belgian football. In addition to the domestic league, Standard Liège participated in this season's editions of the Belgian Cup and the UEFA Europa League. The season covered the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020. Standard Liège
Royal Standard de Liège, commonly referred to as Standard Liège (; nl, Standard Luik ; german: Standard Lüttich ) or simply Standard in Belgium, is a Belgian professional football club based in the city of Liège. They are one of the most successful clubs in Belgium, having won the Belgian league on ten occasions, most recently in 2007–08 and 2008–09. They have been in the top flight without interruption since 1921, longer than any other Belgian side.
