2019–20 Scottish Junior Cup
The 2019–20 Scottish Junior Cup was the 134th season of the Scottish Junior Cup, the national knockout tournament for member clubs of the Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA). The competition was sponsored by Macron in the second year of a three-year deal and was known as the Macron Scottish Junior Cup. A total of 132 clubs entered the competition, which was three more than the previous season despite two teams leaving for the East of Scotland League. This was due to the return of Cruden Bay and Johnstone Burgh plus Bo'ness United Junior, Linlithgow Rose Community, Sauchie Juniors Community, and Syngenta joining the East Region. Auchinleck Talbot were the defending champions. On 13 March 2020, the competition was indefinitely suspended at the semi-final stage due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lochee () is an area in the west of Dundee, Scotland. Until the 19th century, it was a separate town, but was eventually surrounded by the expanding Dundee. It is notable for being home to Camperdown Works, which was the largest jute production site in the world. History 'Lochee' originally referred to the area in which weavers' cottages were situated at the burn which flowed through Balgay Lochee; thus, they were at the eye of the loch or Loch E'e, which eventually became Lochee. It is believed this site is close to where Myrekirk stands today. Indeed, John Ainslie's map of 1794 makes reference to 'Locheye' on the north and south banks of the burn. However, G. Taylor and A. 2018–19 West Region Premiership
The 2018–19 West Region Premiership was the first season of the West Region Premiership the newly named and expanded top tier of league competition for SJFA West Region member clubs, and the 17th season since the West Region began in 2002. It was the first season after the reconstruction of the West Region into four regionwide divisions. The league consisted of 16 clubs, 10 from the 2017–18 West of Scotland Super League Premier Division, four from the 2017–18 West of Scotland Super League First Division and the two play-off winners. Auchinleck Talbot won the title on 15 May 2019 after a 5–0 win over Troon. As champions they entered the preliminary round of the 2019–20 Scottish Cup. 2019–20 Scottish Cup
The 2019–20 Scottish Cup was the 135th season of Scotland's most prestigious football knockout competition. The tournament was sponsored by bookmaker William Hill in what was the final season of a nine-year partnership, after contract negotiations saw the initial five-year contract extended for an additional four years in October 2015. This was the first season in which a match from every round of the tournament proper is broadcast live via TV partners Premier Sports and BBC Scotland, with one match per rounds 1–3 being shown live on the BBC Scotland channel for the first time. On 13 March 2020, the competition was indefinitely suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The competition resumed with the semi-finals on the weekend of 31 October and was completed with the final on 20 December 2020.
