2019–20 Real Zaragoza Season
The 2019–20 season was Real Zaragoza's sixth consecutive season in the Segunda División and their 88th year in existence. Along with Segunda División, the club competed in the Copa del Rey. The season was due to cover a period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020. It was extended extraordinarily beyond 30 June due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. Real Zaragoza
Real Zaragoza, S.A.D. (), commonly referred to as Zaragoza, is a football club based in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain, that currently competes in the Segunda División, the second tier of the Spanish league system. Zaragoza holds its home games at La Romareda. Founded on 18 March 1932, the club has spent the majority of its history in La Liga, although they have not played at that level since they were last relegated in 2013. Miguel Linares Cólera (born 30 September 1982) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Born in Zaragoza, Aragon, Linares began his career at Utebo FC of Tercera División. He spent the 2004–05 season with Real Zaragoza B in the Segunda División B and had a brief spell at SD Huesca before joining UD Barbastro in 2006, who were relegated from the third tier in his first campaign. Íñigo Eguaras Álvarez (born 7 March 1992) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a central midfielder for UD Almería. Football career Born in Ansoáin, Navarre, Eguaras graduated from Athletic Bilbao's youth setup after joining in 2004 from UDC Txantrea, and made his senior debuts with CD Basconia, the club's farm team, in the 2010–11 campaign, in Tercera División.
