2019–20 Liga IV Ialomița
The 2019–20 Liga IV Ialomița, also known as Liga IV Secomi Travel for sponsorship reasons, was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Ialomița, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 24 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania. The season was ended officially on 26 July 2020 after a promotion play-off match between the first 2 ranked teams. FC Bărăganul Ciulnița, Bărăganul Ciulnița was crowned as county champion after a play-off match against the second place, CS Victoria Țăndărei, Victoria Țăndărei. Liga IV Ialomița
Liga IV Ialomița is the county football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Ialomița County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 16 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series. History In 1968, along with the territorial reorganization of the country, but also due to the large number of requests, the Romanian Football Federation proposes a competitive system in which each county has its own football championship, which will activate the former teams in the regional championship as well as the racing and town championship teams from the previous edition. Clubul Sportiv Municipal Fetești, commonly known as CSM Fetești, or simply as Fetești is a Romanian football club based in Fetești, Ialomița County and currently playing in the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. History ''Rapid Fetești'' was founded in 1945 under the name of ''Locomotiva CFR Fetești'' at the initiative of a large number of workers from the Fetești Railway Complex, with a love of sports, among which we can mention Oprea Cojocaru, Petre Ion, Ștefan Iacob. Asociația Sportivă Fotbal Club Urziceni, commonly known as FC Urziceni (), is a Romanian professional Association football, football Club (organization), club based in Urziceni, Ialomița County which currently plays in fourth division, Ialomița County. Unirea became Divizia A Final Tables, national champions in 2009, at the end of their 2008–09 Liga I, third season in the Liga I, top-flight.
