The 2019–20 Liga IV Galați was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Galați, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 31 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania. The season was ended officially on 15 July 2020 after AJF Galați (County Football Association) concluding that the teams could not meet the medical conditions for matches at this level. Avântul Valea Mărului was crowned as county champion. Liga IV Galați is the regional Liga IV football division for clubs in Galați County, România, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. It is organized by the County Football Association (Asociația Județeană de Fotbal) and is competed amongst 14 teams, the winner is promoted to Liga III after a promotion play-off. The 2019–20 Liga IV Vrancea (known as Superliga Altdorf Tehnik for sponsorship reasons) was the 52nd season of Liga IV Vrancea, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 14 September 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania. The season was ended officially on 17 July 2020 after AJF Vrancea (County Football Association) concluding that the teams could not meet the medical conditions for matches at this level, without awarding the title of county champion, and the representative of Vrancea County at the 2019–20 Liga IV, promotion play-off to Liga III will be the Victoria Gugești, the only team that announced that it can comply with the conditions imposed by the medical protocol. 2019–20 Liga IV
The 2019–20 Liga IV was the 78th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a playoff to gain promotion. This had to be the third season when the counties were divided into 7 regions, each consisting of 6 counties and the draw was made on 15 February 2019, with 4 months before the first matches. In the spring of 2020, most of the county leagues were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 11 May 2020, the Romanian Football Federation announced that the promotion format will be changed, especially due to the fact that no team (apart from the teams that were already excluded or dissolved) relegated from Liga III. The promotion play-off system was changed from 21 two-legged matches in 14 groups of 3 teams, the winners of the groups and the best 7 ranked runners-up will be promoted to the third tier, 14 teams instead of 21.
