2019–20 Kategoria E Dytë
The 2019-20 Kategoria e Dytë was the 48th official season of the Albanian football third division since its establishment. There were 26 teams competing this season, split in 2 groups. The winners of the groups played the league's final against each other and also gained promotion to the 2020–21 Kategoria e Parë. Teams ranked from the 2nd to the 5th position qualified to the play-off round which they played against the 8th ranked teams in the 2019-20 Kategoria e Parë. FK Partizani Tirana B, Partizani B, FK Tomori Berat, Tomori and FK Vora, Vora were promoted to the 2020–21 Kategoria e Parë. FK Vora, Vora won their second Kategoria e Dytë title after beating FK Tomori Berat, Tomori in the final match. The competition was completely suspended from 12 March to 7 June 2020, due to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Albania, Covid-19 Pandemic. Kategoria E Dytë
Kategoria e Dytë is the third tier of professional football in Albania’s league system. Known as the Second Division since the 2004–05 season, it consists of 23 teams split into two geographically-based groups. The winners of each group secure promotion to Kategoria e Parë and face off in the final to determine the season’s overall champion. Bilisht Sport
Klubi Sportiv Devolli is an Albanian football club based in the town of Bilisht. History Bilisht Sport ''Klubi Sportiv Devolli'' was founded in 1927 and played under the name ''Devolli Bilisht''. They were renamed to just ''Bilishti'' between 1949 and 1950, before changing to ''Puna Bilisht'' between 1951 and 1958. The club then reverted its name back to ''Devolli Bilisht'' in 1958 which it kept until 2006 when they change their name to ''Klubi Futbollitik Bilisht Sport''. In the 2010s, another club from Bilisht emerged and called KF Devolli. Klubi i Futbollit Sopoti Librazhd is an Albanian sports club based in Librazhd. The club currently competes in the Kategoria e Dytë, the third tier of football in Albania. History They were founded in 1948 under the name ''KS Albania Tabak Librazhd'', and they play their home games at the Sopoti Stadium. The club is named after the nearby Sopot Mountain. They spent the 1992/93, 1993/94, 1995/96 and 1996/97 seasons in the ''Kategoria Superiore''. Before the 1996/97 season, they changed their name back to Albania Tabak Librazhd, only to change it to Sopoti Librazhd once more the next year. KF Ada Velipojë was an Albanian football club which was based in the city of Velipojë which is situated in Shkodër County. The club's home ground was the Fusha Sportive Adriatik. History The club was founded on 6 March 1996 as a sports society by Lazër Matia, Alfred Pjetri, Filip Kercunga, Marash Qytetza and Prend Përndreca. The name Ada derives from the Adriatic island of Ada Bojana in nearby Montenegro. Klubi i Futbollit Tirana B is an Albanian football club based in Tirana. The club is the B team of Albania's most successful club KF Tirana. It was founded in 1932, but was dissolved before it was refounded on 22 January 2013. History In 1932, ahead of the Albanian First Division campaign that was to take place, Sportklub Tiranë decided to put together a reserve team to participate in the first officially recognised reserves competition held in Albania. They competed in Group A along with reserve teams of Teuta Durrës, Bashkimi Shkodran, SK Elbasani and Skënderbeu Korçë. KF Spartak Tirana () is an Albanian football club based the capital city Tirana. They currently compete in the Kategoria e Tretë. History The club was founded in 1950 as the team of the trade unions. Spartak Tirana managed to play in the years 1954, 1955 and 1957 in the Kategoria Superiore. KF Partizani B is the B team of Albanian football club Partizani. History Partizani reserves (1948–1949) On 3 October 1948, the Albanian Football Association launched a new format for the Albanian Superliga and Albanian First Division as they adopted the western format of an autumn to spring league competition. A reserve team representing Partizani Tirana was created following this announcement, and they competed in 1948–49 Albanian First Division, where they won their first 5 games in a row before the competition was cancelled on 31 March 1949 by the Albanian Football Association due to Soviet pressure to leave the western format and return to the Soviet league format.
