2019–20 Iranian Volleyball Super League
The Iranian Volleyball Super League 2019–20 was the 33rd season of the Iranian Volleyball Super League, the highest professional volleyball league in Iran. The season started on 30 October 2019, and ran through 23 February 2020. But due to COVID-19 pandemic in Iran, IRIVF announced on 1 March 2020 that the season was canceled. According to the announcement, there was no relegation to lower division and teams ranked 1st to 3rd in previous season were nominated to participate in the 2020 Asian Club Championship. However, the 2020 Asian Club Championship was also canceled later. Regular season Standings *Payam Mashhad were excluded from the league during the regular season due to financial problems. Paykan Tehran VC
Paykan Tehran Volleyball Club ( fa, باشگاه والیبال پیکان تـهران, ''Bâshgâh-e Vâlibâl-e Peykân-e Tehrân'') is an Iranian professional volleyball team based in Tehran, Iran. The team is owned by Iran Khodro, an Iranian automobile manufacturer, and it competes in the Iranian Volleyball Super League. Paykan VC is the volleyball club of the multisport '' Paykan Sport Club''. History Establishment Paykan Tehran Volleyball Club was founded in 1967 in Tehran, Iran, as a part of Paykan Sports Club. Volleyball Competitions In Iran
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. COVID-19 Pandemic In Iran

Iranian Volleyball Super League
The Iranian Volleyball Super League (IVSL) is a professional volleyball league in Iran at the top of the Iranian volleyball league system. It was founded in 1975 as the Pasargad Cup, but after the Iranian Revolution it was renamed to the first Division. In 1997 the league system was revamped and the Iranian Super League was established. Paykan Tehran has won the most titles in the new Super League with 12 titles. History The first season of a national Iranian volleyball league was held in 1975 with 12 teams competing. In 1976 Esteghlal became the champions for the first time, and they repeated this feat in the following season. In 1979 due to the Iranian Revolution the league was canceled.
