2019–20 Iowa State Cyclones Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball team represents Iowa State University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cyclones are coached by Steve Prohm, who is in his fifth season at Iowa State. They play their home games at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa as members of the Big 12 Conference. Previous season The Cyclones finished the 2018–19 season 23–12, 9–9 in Big 12 play to finish in fifth place. They defeated Baylor, Kansas State, and Kansas to win the Big 12 Conference tournament. Steve Prohm
Steven Marshall Prohm (born July 12, 1974) is an American basketball coach who is in his second tenure as the head coach for Murray State men's basketball. Previously, he was the head coach at Iowa State University, a position he had held from 2015 to 2021. Prohm served in the same capacity at Murray State University from 2011 to 2015. Early life A native of Vienna, Virginia, Prohm's family later moved to Dalton, Georgia, where Prohm attended high school at Northwest Whitfield High School in Tunnel Hill, Georgia and lettered in basketball for three years, graduating in 1992. He started college at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta where he played NCAA Division III basketball. Prohm made it less than halfway through his first season as a player when he left the team to follow his passion for coaching. 2019 NBA Draft
The 2019 NBA draft was held on June 20, 2019. It took place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. National Basketball Association (NBA) teams took turns selecting amateur United States college basketball players and other eligible players, including international players. It was televised nationally on ESPN. State Farm was the presenting sponsor of the NBA draft for the eighth consecutive year. This draft was the first to feature a new weighted lottery system in which the three worst teams each had a 14 percent chance of winning the lottery; these teams were the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Phoenix Suns. Lakeland Senior High School (Florida)
Lakeland Senior High School is the oldest public high school in Lakeland, Florida, United States. It is part of Polk County Public Schools. Lakeland Senior High School was the original high school in the city. It also shares its campus with Lois Cowles Harrison Center for the Visual and Performing Arts. Maize is a city in Sedgwick County, Kansas, United States, and a suburb of Wichita. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 5,735. The Penn State Nittany Lions basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team representing the Pennsylvania State University. They are a member of the Big Ten Conference and play home games at the 15,261-seat Bryce Jordan Center, moving there from Rec Hall during the 1995–96 season. Their student cheering section is known as the Legion of Blue. The program has nine NCAA tournament appearances with its best finish coming in 1954, reaching the Final Four. Rasir Zias Bolton (born September 27, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for Telenet Giants Antwerp of the BNXT League. He played college basketball for the Penn State Nittany Lions, Iowa State Cyclones, and Gonzaga Bulldogs. High school career Bolton attended four different high schools during his first three years, often leaving due to changes in coaching or the athletic department. The Troy Trojans men's basketball program is the intercollegiate men's basketball of Troy University. The program is classified in NCAA Division I and the team competes in the Sun Belt Conference.
