2019–20 Croatian Football Cup
The 2019–20 Croatian Football Cup was the twenty-ninth season of Croatia's Association football, football knockout competition. The defending champions were HNK Rijeka, Rijeka, having won their fifth title the 2018–19 Croatian Football Cup, previous year by defeating GNK Dinamo Zagreb, Dinamo Zagreb in the 2019 Croatian Football Cup Final, final. HNK Hajduk Split
Hrvatski nogometni klub Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split () or simply Hajduk, is a Croatian professional football club based in Split, that competes in the Croatian First League, the top tier in Croatian football. Since 1979, the club's home ground has been the 34,198-seater Stadion Poljud. The team's traditional home colours are white shirts with blue shorts and blue socks. The idea to form a football club was started by group of Split students who were studying in Prague. After observing a game between Slavia and Sparta Prague, the group gathered at the U Fleků tavern and talked of creating a football club at home. NK Novigrad
NK Novigrad is a Croatian association football club founded in 1947 and based in the town of Novigrad in Istria County. It currently plays in the Istrian Third Football League. Hrvatski nogometni klub Cibalia, commonly known as Cibalia Vinkovci or simply Cibalia, is a Croatian football club from the town of Vinkovci in eastern Croatia. NK Vinogradar ( en, FC Winemaker) was a Croatian football club based in the village of Lokošin Dol, part of the town of Jastrebarsko. The club merged with NK Jaska in 2021 after the death of Ivan Rubinić, the former owner who helped the club become well known as a well-run amateur team in the 2000s and 2010s with a number of cup runs. History During the 1960s, people in Jastrebarsko and surrounding villages began to play football more seriously and to form the first football clubs. NK Istra 1961
Nogometni klub Istra 1961 ( en, Istra 1961 Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Istra 1961, or simply Istra 1961 or Istra, is a Croatian professional football club from Pula, currently playing in the Croatian First League. It is a common opinion amongst many people that ''Istra 1961'' was founded in 1961 by merging two clubs from Pula, NK Uljanik and NK Pula, forming NK Istra. However, NK Istra is not the same club as NK Istra 1961. NK Istra 1961, then named NK Uljanik, was founded in 1964. NK Istra were competing in Prva HNL since the first season, but were relegated in the 1996–97 season to Druga HNL. Nogometni klub Inter Zaprešić was a Croatian professional football club based in Zaprešić, a town northwest of the capital Zagreb.
