2019–20 Blackpool F.C. Season
The 2019–20 Blackpool F.C. season was the club's 111th season in the English Football League and their third-consecutive season in League One, the third tier of the Football League. The season covered the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020. Blackpool finished a curtailed season in 13th place. Along with competing in League One, the club were also participants in three cup competitions. They were knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round by Reading, after a replay; they were eliminated from the EFL Cup in the first round by Macclesfield Town; and they were knocked out of the EFL Trophy in the second round by Scunthorpe United. Terry McPhillips resigned as manager on 5 July after one season in charge. He was succeeded by Simon Grayson, who returned to the club after leaving them for Leeds United in 2008. Blackpool F
Blackpool is a seaside resort in Lancashire, England. Located on the northwest coast of England, it is the main settlement within the borough also called Blackpool. The town is by the Irish Sea, between the Ribble and Wyre rivers, and is north of Liverpool and northwest of Manchester. At the 2011 census, the unitary authority of Blackpool had an estimated population of 139,720 while the urban settlement had a population of 147,663, making it the most populous settlement in Lancashire, and the fifth-most populous in North West England after Manchester, Liverpool, Bolton and Warrington. Scott Quigley
Scott David Quigley (born 2 September 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Eastleigh. A pacey two-footed striker, he had a three-year scholarship with The New Saints before he turned professional at the club in 2012. Following loan spells with Caersws, Carmarthen Town and Cefn Druids, he went on to score 61 goals in 122 appearances for TNS. Christopher Michael Long (born 25 February 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for League Two club Crewe Alexandra. He is a product of the Everton Academy. Long has represented England from U16 to U20 level. Club career Everton A forward, Long grew up in Huyton and represented the town at schoolboy level. Mark Cullen (footballer, Born 1992)
Mark Cullen (born 21 April 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for club AFC Fylde. A player with excellent finishing skills, he has scored in each of the top five divisions of the English football league system. A former Newcastle United youth-team player, he went on to graduate from the Hull City Academy and make his Premier League debut for the club in the 2009–10 season. He spent the next three seasons on loan at Bradford City, Bury and Stockport County, before taking a free transfer move to Luton Town in May 2013. Max Clayton
Max James Clayton (born 9 August 1994) is a retired English footballer, who last played as a striker for Altrincham. He has also represented England at under-16, under-17, under-18 and under-19 levels. Club career Crewe Alexandra Born in Crewe, Cheshire, Clayton started his football career at Crewe Alexandra Academy. Christopher David Taylor (born 20 December 1986) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently Under 18s coach at FC United of Manchester. Career Oldham Athletic Taylor, who is a lifelong Oldham fan, signed a professional contract with his hometown club, where a scout, Colin Shaw, scouted him and where he had been a trainee, on 1 August 2005. Finlay Sinclair-Smith (born 21 April 2000) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays for Marine, as a winger. Career Born in Liverpool, Sinclair-Smith joined Blackpool in 2013. Scunthorpe United Football Club is a professional association football club based in the town of Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. The side currently competes in the National League, the fifth tier of the English football league system.
