2019 World Table Tennis Championships – Women's Doubles
The women's doubles competition of the 2019 World Table Tennis Championships was held from 22 to 28 April 2019. Ding Ning and Liu Shiwen were the defending champions but neither of them competed this year. Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu won the final by defeating Hina Hayata and Mima Ito 8–11, 3–11, 11–8, 11–,3, 12–10, 11–8. Ng Wing Nam
Venus Ng Wing Nam (; born 9 August 1992) is a Hong Kong table tennis player. Since 2007, she became a full time athlete in Hong Kong Sports Institute. Her highest career ITTF ranking was 28 in July 2014. She was the first local player to win medals at the Asian Table Tennis Championships and the ITTF World Tour Grand Finals. Early years Ng studied at Heep Yunn School in her early years. She chose to become a full-time athlete and entered the Hong Kong Institute of Sports for training. Lily Zhang
Lily Ann Zhang (born June 16, 1996) is an American table tennis player who competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London with teammates Ariel Hsing and Erica Wu. She also competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio with teammates Jiaqi Zheng and Jennifer Wu. She is a five time US national champion in women's singles. Zhang has won the US national championship in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019. Georgina Póta (; born 13 January 1985 in Budapest) is a multiple European Champion table tennis player from Hungary. Career Póta was born in the Hungarian capital Budapest in 1985 and began practicing table tennis in 1990. Between 1994 and 2008 she played for Statisztika PSC in Hungary, subsequently she moved to TTC Berlin Eastside.
