2019 Web.com Tour
The 2019 Korn Ferry Tour was the 30th season of the top developmental tour for the PGA Tour in men's golf. The season began under the Web.com Tour name but changed in June to the Korn Ferry Tour. The season ran from January 13 to September 2 and consists of 27 official money tournaments, four of them played outside of the United States. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2019 season. Location of tournaments Points leaders ''For full rankings, see 2019 Korn Ferry Tour Finals graduates.'' Regular season points leaders The regular season points list was based on prize money won during the season, calculated using a points-based system. The top 25 players on the tour earned status to play on the 2019–20 PGA Tour. Finals points leaders A further 25 players earned status to play on the 2019–20 PGA Tour, via the Korn Ferry Tour Finals. Scottie Scheffler
Scott Alexander Scheffler (born June 21, 1996) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. From March to October 2022, he was World Number 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking. He won the 2022 Masters Tournament. Early life Scheffler was born to Diane and Scott Scheffler in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and lived in Montvale, New Jersey, until age six, when the family moved to Dallas, Texas, in the wake of the September 11 attacks. Scheffler's father Scott was a stay-at-home dad, while his mother Diane worked as a chief operating officer at the law firm Thompson & Knight. His interest in golf began at age 3, when his parents gave him a set of plastic clubs and ball. After the move to Dallas, Scheffler received tutelage at the Royal Oaks Golf Club under instructor Randy Smith, who coached Justin Leonard to a victory at The Open Championship in 1997. Lanto Griffin
Lanto Griffin (born June 15, 1988) is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour. Early life Griffin was born in Mount Shasta, California and moved with his family at a young age to Blacksburg, Virginia. He played college golf at Virginia Commonwealth University where he was the 2009 Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year. He turned professional in 2010. Professional career Griffin played on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica in 2015 and 2016. He won the Roberto De Vicenzo Punta del Este Open Copa NEC in 2015. Also in 2015, Griffin won the Virginia Open.
