Camila Giorgi was the defending champion, but withdrew before the tournament started, due to injury. Coco Gauff won her first WTA Tour title, defeating Jeļena Ostapenko in the final, 6–3, 1–6, 6–2. Gauff (aged 15 years, 7 months) became the youngest player to win a WTA Tour singles title since Nicole Vaidišová (15 years, 5 months) in 2004. Cori Dionne "Coco" Gauff (born March 13, 2004) is an American professional tennis player.
