2019 Tour De Wallonie
The 2019 VOO-Tour de Wallonie was a five-stage men's professional road cycling race, held in Belgium as a 2.HC race on the 2019 UCI Europe Tour. It was the forty-sixth running of the Tour de Wallonie, starting on 27 July in Le Roeulx and finishing on 31 July in Thuin. Schedule Teams Nineteen teams of seven riders entered the race. 2019 UCI Europe Tour
The 2019 UCI Europe Tour was the fifteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2019 season began on 31 January 2019 with the Vuelta a Mallorca, Trofeo Porreres, Felanitx, Ses Salines, Campos and ended on 20 October 2019. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Stage 5
Stage 5 (or, originally, "Stage V") is an unofficial stage at the Walnut Valley Festival, an annual bluegrass festival in Winfield, Kansas, United States. Set up in the Pecan Grove campground, the informal stage began in 1987 when camper Russell Brace and friends built it on the back of a 1954 Chevrolet 4100 1-1/2 ton flatbed truck. The stage is so-named because the festival proper has four main stages. The stage was immediately popular and is now a cherished tradition at the annual event. Audiences at Stage 5 can usually expect to hear typical acoustic string instruments. However, many musicians, while there, part from traditional bluegrass styles and emphasize a looser, more rock-oriented interpretation of roots music. Several notables have played Stage 5. Arnaud Démare
Arnaud Démare (born 26 August 1991) is a professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . In 2011 he won the UCI World Under-23 Road Race Championships, and in 2016 he won the Milan–San Remo. He is one of five riders to have won the French National Road Race Championships three times, having won the race in 2014, 2017 and 2020. Career 2012 season In August 2012, Démare won the first World Tour race of his career by prevailing in the Vattenfall Cyclassics, ahead of local favorite André Greipel and Giacomo Nizzolo. Démare clearly dominated the mass sprint contested in scorching heat at the end of the race. Davide Cimolai (born 13 August 1989) is an Italian professional road and track bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Born in Pordenone, Cimolai has competed as a professional since the 2010 season, competing for the team until the end of 2011, when he joined the squad for the 2012 season.
