The 2019 Tampa Bay Rowdies season was the club's tenth season of existence, their third in the United Soccer League, and first in the newly named USL Championship. Including the previous Tampa Bay Rowdies, this was the 26th season of a franchise in the Tampa Bay metro area with the Rowdies moniker. Tampa Bay Rowdies
The Tampa Bay Rowdies are an American professional Association football, soccer team based in St. Petersburg, Florida. The club was founded in 2008 and first took the pitch in 2010. Since 2017, the Rowdies have been members of the USL Championship in the second tier of the American soccer pyramid. They formerly played in USSF Division 2 (in 2010) and the North American Soccer League (2011–2017), North American Soccer League (NASL) (from 2011 to 2016), which were also second-tier leagues. USL Championship
The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The USL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) as a Division II league since 2017, placing it under Major League Soccer (Division I) in the hierarchy. The USL is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Dominic Oduro (footballer, Born 1995)
Dominic Oduro (born 23 January 1995) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a full-back or midfielder. Club career Early career and loan deals Oduro joined Manchester City's youth academy from the Right to Dream Academy in his native Ghana in 2011. After a successful trial, he joined Danish Superliga club AGF in January 2013 on loan for 18 months. He made his debut for the club in a 2–0 win against FC Vestsjælland on 27 July. UCF Knights Men's Soccer
The UCF Knights men's soccer team represents the University of Central Florida in National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I. As of the next NCAA men's soccer season in 2023, the Knights compete in the Sun Belt Conference (SBC). This coincides with UCF's July 2023 move from the American Athletic Conference (The American), a league in which it has been a member since 2013, to the Big 12 Conference, which sponsors soccer only for women. Brandon Allen (born October 8, 1993) is an American association football, soccer player who currently plays as a Forward (association football), forward. Allen is the younger brother of soccer player R. J. Allen. Early career Allen attended St. Joseph High School (Metuchen, New Jersey), St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, NJ where he scored 118 goals throughout his four-year varsity career. Birmingham Legion FC is an American professional soccer club based in Birmingham, Alabama, that competes in the USL Championship, the second division of American soccer. Brian Auld is an American professional baseball executive. He is currently the co-president, along with Matthew Silverman, of the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB). Career Auld received his bachelor's degree in economics and master's degree in education from Stanford University. He obtained his MBA from Harvard Business School. He became the lead teacher and director of development at East Palo Alto Charter School in East Palo Alto, California. Martin Paterson
Martin Andrew Paterson (born 10 May 1987) is a former professional footballer and assistant head coach of club Barnsley. Born in Stoke-on-Trent, he played as a forward he began his career with Stoke City, making his senior debut in April 2005. He failed to win a regular first team place however, and had a loan spell at Grimsby Town in the 2006–07 season, before he was allowed to join Scunthorpe United in July 2007. He scored 13 goals in the Championship in the 2007–08 season, and was signed by Burnley for a £1 million fee in June 2008.
