2019 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification
The 2019 Individual Speedway World Championship Grand Prix Qualification was a series of motorcycle speedway meetings that were used to determine the three riders that qualified for the 2019 Speedway Grand Prix. The series consisted of four qualifying rounds at Žarnovica, Slangerup, Lonigo and Abensberg and the Grand Prix Challenge at Landshut. The three riders that qualified were Janusz Kołodziej, Niels-Kristian Iversen and Antonio Lindbäck. Speedway Grand Prix Qualification
The Speedway Grand Prix Challenge or Speedway Grand Prix Qualification is an annual Motorcycle speedway, speedway qualifying tournament to determine the qualifiers for the Speedway Grand Prix, which is the World Championship of speedway. History From 1995 the List of Individual Speedway World Championship medalists, Individual World Championship was replaced by the Grand Prix system. The 17 qualifiers for the 1995 Grand Prix were the top 10 from the 1994 Individual Speedway World Championship, 1994 World final, 5 seeds and 2 wildcards. From 1996, the leading riders from each Grand Prix series would automatically qualifying for the following year's event. The remaining places would be filled by the leading riders in the Challenge event and qualifiers from the both the Continental Speedway Final and Intercontinental Final. Brady Kurtz
Brady Kurtz (born 27 September 1996) is an Australian speedway rider. Biography Born in Cowra, New South Wales, Kurtz isn't the only racer in his family. Brady's older brother Todd Kurtz is a fellow Speedway rider, who has ridden for the Plymouth Devils amongst other teams in the UK. Career Brady got his first break into British Speedway riding in the Premier League with the Somerset Rebels. After 2 impressive years with the Rebels, Kurtz was named in the Poole Pirates team to compete in the 2016 Elite League. This news didn't come as a surprise, as Kurtz had already been the subject of interest from Poole for some time. Jack Holder
Jack Holder (born 23 March 1996) in Appin, New South Wales is an Australian speedway rider currently riding for Sheffield Tigers in the British Elite League and Apator Toruń in the Polish Ekstraliga. Jack is a World team champion and his brother Chris Holder is a former World individual champion. Career A successful rider in Australia, he came to England and first rode for Plymouth Gladiators in 2015. After two seasons, he rode for both Peterborough Panthers and Poole Pirates in 2017, helping Poole to win the Elite Shield. Jack Holder finished in sixth place at the 2017 Speedway Under-21 World Championship and 4th in the Jason Crump Classic Cup - considered a warm-up for the Australian Senior Solo Championship. Krzysztof Kasprzak
Krzysztof Kasprzak (; born 18 July 1984 in Leszno, Poland) is an international speedway rider who became World Under-21 Champion in 2005 and won the silver medal during the 2014 Speedway Grand Prix. He also won five World team titles. He is a son of former Polish national speedway team member Zenon Kasprzak. Brother Robert is also a speedway rider. Career summary Kasprzak became the European Champion in 2003 after winning the 2003 Individual Speedway European Championship. He also made his British speedway debut after joining Poole Pirates. Ricky Wells (born 27 July 1991 in Auckland, New Zealand), is an American international motorcycle speedway rider. He was the 2009 USA National Champion and a two time U.S. Under 21 National Champion. He has been an international rider for the USA in the Speedway World Cup. US National Championship On 19 September 2009 Ricky won the United States Individual Speedway Championship, winning all of his heat races and the main event.
