Novak Djokovic defeated Denis Shapovalov in the final, 6–3, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2019 Paris Masters. It was his record-extending fifth Paris Masters title, and he did not drop a set en route. Karen Khachanov was the defending champion, but lost in the second round to Jan-Lennard Struff. David Goffin (; born 7 December 1990) is a Belgian professional tennis player. His career-high singles ranking is world No. 7. He is currently the Belgian No. 1, and the first Belgian man to be ranked in the top 10. Goffin has won six ATP titles and reached nine other finals, most notably at the 2017 ATP Finals. Ričardas Berankis (; born June 21, 1990) is a Lithuanian professional tennis player. He is the first and only Lithuanian citizen (not counting Lithuanian American Vitas Gerulaitis) to enter the ATP top 50 rankings, making him the highest ranked Lithuanian tennis player of all time. Dušan Lajović ( sr-cyrl, Душан Лајовић; born 30 June 1990) is a Serbian professional tennis player. Lajović has won one singles and two doubles titles on the ATP Tour.
