2019 Pinstripe Bowl
The 2019 Pinstripe Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 27, 2019, with kickoff at 3:20 p.m. EST on ESPN. It was the 10th edition of the Pinstripe Bowl, and one of the 2019–20 bowl games concluding the 2019 FBS football season. Sponsored by the New Era Cap Company, the game was officially known as the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. Teams The game was played between the Michigan State Spartans from the Big Ten Conference and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). This was the first time that the two programs played against each other. Michigan State Spartans Michigan State entered the game with a 6–6 record (4–5 in conference). The Spartans finished in fifth place of the East Division of the Big Ten. Pinstripe Bowl
The Pinstripe Bowl is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) college football bowl game that is held at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, New York City. First played in 2010, the game is organized by the New York Yankees, primary tenants of the venue, and is currently affiliated with the Atlantic Coast Conference and Big Ten Conference through 2025. The game previously had ties with the Big 12 Conference and the Big East Conference. The winner of the game is awarded the George M. Steinbrenner Trophy, while the David C. Koch MVP Trophy is awarded to the bowl's most valuable player. Kendall Hinton (born February 19, 1997) is an American football wide receiver for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wake Forest as a quarterback and wide receiver and signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2020. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons football team represents Wake Forest University in the sport of American football. The New Era Cap Company is an American headwear company headquartered in Buffalo, New York. It was founded in 1920. New Era has over 500 different licenses in its portfolio. Since 1993 they have been the exclusive baseball cap supplier for Major League Baseball (MLB).
