2019 Munster Senior Football Championship
The 2019 Munster Senior Football Championship was the 2019 installment of the annual Munster Senior Football Championship organised by the Munster GAA. The fixtures were announced on 12 October 2018. Darren Mulhearne notably made his championship debut for Waterford against Clare in the quarter-final at the age of 46, believed to be the oldest player to debut. Two of his opponents in that game, and fellow debutants, had a combined age that was less than that of Mulhearne. He kept a clean sheet, in a one-point loss. Mulhearne was called into the team after Aaron Beresford sustained an injury. Mulhearne had first been part of the Waterford senior team as a 17-year-old schoolboy, but never played. Billy Lee
Billy Lee is a former Gaelic footballer and former manager of the Limerick county football team. He is from Newcastle West. Player Lee played for Limerick. He became a selector when Liam Kearns managed the team between 1999 and 2005, and then was manager for six years. He won the McGrath Cup and won the National Football League Division 4 title. He got them promoted to Division Two where he left them with a place in the Sam Maguire Cup. He went out on a high when he led Limerick to a Munster Final in 2022. The 2014 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 127th edition of the GAA's premier inter-county Gaelic football since its establishment in 1887. It was played between 31 counties of Ireland (excluding Kilkenny), London and New York. Peter Keane (Gaelic Footballer)
Peter Keane (born 1971) is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player who, most recently, managed the Kerry senior football team. As a player, he lined out with South Kerry Championship club St Mary's. Keane is one of nine children. Both of his parents ran the Ringside Rest Hotel in Cahersiveen. His father Tom was a builder who spent time as chairman of the South Kerry board. Peter Keane played football in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He played for St Mary's alongside fellow forward Maurice Fitzgerald. In 1988, the pair won a Kerry under-21 title for South Kerry. However, his county career was limited to minor (1989), county junior (1990) and under-21 (captaining the 1992 team to a Munster title). He spent four years working in a bank before departing to work in retail in Killorglin. He is considered shrewd. The Kerry County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), or Kerry GAA, is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland. 2012 Munster Senior Football Championship
The 2012 Munster Senior Football Championship was that year's installment of the annual Munster Senior Football Championship held under the auspices of the Munster GAA. It was won by Cork who defeated Clare in the final. It was Cork's 37th title. This was Clare's first appearance in the final since 2000. The winning Cork team received the Munster Championship Cup, and automatically advanced to the quarter-final stage of the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
