2019 Mongolian Premier League
The 2019 Mongolian Premier League was the 51st season of football in Mongolia. The season began on 13 April and is scheduled to end in August 2019. This is the second year of a 3-year sponsorship deal with Mazala. Erchim are the defending champion. Khoromkhon and Khaan Khuns Titem joined as the promoted teams from the 2018 Mongolian 1st League, replacing Arvis and Gepro which were relegated from the 2018 Mongolian Premier League. Ulaanbaatar City FC
Ulaanbaatar City is a professional football club from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. They currently play in the Mongolian National Premier League, the highest level of football in Mongolia. History The club was founded on 19 March 2016 with club owner, the IT Group, purchasing the Mongolia Premier League license of Khangarid City FC which was subsequently dissolved. The IT Group paid 15 million MNT for the license. Ulaanbaatar City won the Premier League championship for the first time in 2019, making them eligible to enter the AFC Cup for the first time for the 2020 edition. The team snapped Erchim FC's four-year championship streak in the process. However, the continental tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic before Ulaanbaatar City played its first match. Nyam-Osoryn Naranbold
Nyam-Osoryn Naranbold ( mn, Ням-Осорын Наранболд; born 22 February 1992) is a Mongolian footballer who plays as a forward for Mongolian Premier League club Khovd and the Mongolian national team. With eight international goals, he is tied for first place on Mongolia’s all-time scorers list. Club career Naranbold began playing for Khoromkhon of the Mongolian Premier League in 2008. He made appearances in the club's two matches during the qualifying rounds of the 2016 AFC Cup, a 0–2 defeat to K-Electric F.C. of Pakistan and a 0–0 draw with Druk United of Bhutan. Khoromkhon failed to progress to the next round. With Khoromkhon, he won the league championship in 2014 and was runner-up in 2008 and 2012. G-Mobile Arena is an association football stadium in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It is the home of Ulaanbaatar City FC of the Mongolian Premier League. Naming rights belong to Mongolian wireless communication company G-Mobile. The arena includes stands on all four sides and a half roof. An artificial turf surface was imported from the Netherlands. National Sports Stadium (In mn, Үндэсний спортын цэнгэлдэх хүрээлэн ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It is used mostly for football matches and has a capacity 12,500. The Naadam festival, which celebrates Mongolian independence, is held there every July. The land owned by the stadium company is about 27 hectares, of which the stadium takes about 8 hectares of land.
