2019 Mesterfinalen
The 2019 Mesterfinalen was supposed to be the third edition of Mesterfinalen and the 5th Norwegian super cup overall. Mesterfinalen is the annual game between the League champions and the Cup champions in Norway, or the second-placed team in Eliteserien if the same team are reigning League and Cup champions. The final will be played in March between league and cup champions and defending Mesterfinalen champions Rosenborg and the runner-up in the league, Molde. On 15 January 2019, it was decided that the game will be played on Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. The league winner decided the venue of the game. On 15 March 2019, two days prior to the scheduled matchday, Mesterfinalen was cancelled due to heavy rain weather forecast on the match date. Rosenborg BK
Rosenborg Ballklub, commonly referred to simply as Rosenborg () or RBK, is a Norwegian professional football club from Trondheim that plays in Eliteserien. The club has won a record 26 league titles, a shared record 12 Norwegian Football Cup titles and have played more UEFA matches than any other Norwegian team. RBK play their home games at the all-seater Lerkendal Stadion which has a capacity of 21,421. The club was founded as Odd in 1917 but were not allowed to play amateur league matches until 1928, when they took the present name. The Norwegian Football Cup ( no, Norgesmesterskapet i fotball for herrer) is the main knockout cup competition in Norwegian football. It is run by the Football Association of Norway and has been contested since 1902, making it the oldest football tournament in the country. Erling Moe
Erling Hagset Moe (born 22 July 1970) is a Norwegian professional football coach and former player who is the manager of Norwegian Eliteserien club Molde. In his active playing career, Moe played for Træff until he was aged 26 years. Coaching career Moe was head coach at Træff from 1999 to 2002. During Moe's period as Træff's head coach, the club played in 2. divisjon, the third-highest level in Norwegian football. The team was relegated to the 3. divisjon in his last season at the club. Moe has been a part of the coaching staff at Molde since 2005, with the exception of being head coach in third tier club Kristiansund BK for the second half of the 2011 season. The UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying tournament was a football competition that was played from March 2019 to November 2020 to determine the 24 UEFA member men's national teams that advanced to the UEFA Euro 2020 final tournament, played across Europe in June and July 2021. Mesterfinalen ( en, Champions Final), also known as UNICEF Mesterfinalen due to its cooperation with UNICEF, is a Norwegian association football competition contested between the champions of the previous Eliteserien season and the holders of the Norwegian Football Cup.
