2019 Malmö FF Season
The 2019 season was Malmö FF's 108th in existence, their 84th season in Allsvenskan and their 19th consecutive season in the league. They competed in Allsvenskan where they finished as runners-up, the 2018–19 Svenska Cupen where they were knocked out in the group stage, and the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League where they were knocked out in the round of 32. Malmö FF also participated in two competitions in which the club continued playing in for the 2020 season, the 2019–20 Svenska Cupen and the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League. The season began with the first leg of the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League on 14 February, league play started on 1 April and concluded on 2 November. The season concluded with the last UEFA Europa League group stage match on 12 December. Malmö FF
Malmö Fotbollförening, commonly known as Malmö FF, Malmö, or MFF, is a professional football club and the most successful football club in Sweden in terms of trophies won. Formed in 1910 and affiliated with the Scania Football Association, Malmö FF is based at Eleda Stadion in Malmö, Scania. The club has won a record 22 Swedish championship titles and the most national cup titles with 15. Malmö FF won its first Championship in 1944. Superettan
Superettan (; meaning the super first (division)) is an association football league and the second highest league in the league system of Swedish men's football. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Allsvenskan and Division 1. Seasons run from April to October, with teams playing 30 matches each, totalling 240 matches in the season. The league was created in 2000. The second tier of Swedish football had previously consisted of a varying number of regionalized leagues operating under the Division 2 (1924–1986) and Division 1 (1987–1999) names. Guillermo Molins
Guillermo Federico Molins Palmeiro (; born 26 September 1988) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays for Sarpsborg 08. Beginning his career with Malmö FF in 2006, he has gone on to play professionally in Belgium, Spain, China, Greece, and Norway. A full international between 2010 and 2014, he has won six caps and scored one goal for the Sweden national team. Carlos Strandberg
Sergio Carlos Strandberg (born 14 April 1996) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Al-Sailiya. Career Born to a Swedish father and a mother who is Portuguese with Mozambican heritage, Strandberg grew up in Backa, Gothenburg, where he joined the local lower league side Backa IF as a six-year-old. Carl Oscar Johan Lewicki (, ; born 14 July 1992) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Allsvenskan club Malmö FF.
