2019 Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2019 Malaysian motorcycle Grand Prix was the eighteenth round of the 2019 MotoGP season. It was held at the Sepang International Circuit in Sepang on 3 November 2019. Álex Márquez won the Moto2 title after finishing in 2nd place behind his closest title rival Brad Binder. Despite taking his fourth win of the season and the second consecutive win after winning the previous round at Phillip Island seven days ago, Márquez' 2nd place-finish was enough to mathematically eliminate Binder's hopes of winning his second title overall in his career after previously winning the 2016 Moto3 World Championship due to an uncatchable margin of Márquez by 28 points over Binder with one race to go. Marcos Ramírez Fernández (born 16 December 1997) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing for American Racing in the 2023 Moto2 World Championship. Career Junior career In 2012 he was a competitor of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, and qualified on pole position in his first ever race, the opening round in Jerez, eventually finishing the race in 2nd. He would score two other 2nd places in Assen and Aragon, finishing 6th in the championship with 153 points. Danilo Petrucci
Danilo Carlo Petrucci (born 24 October 1990) is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer who has competed in the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship with Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati New York. After losing his KTM ride in MotoGP at the end of the 2021 season, he entered the 2022 Dakar Rally with a Tech3 KTM rally raid 450 cc machine in January 2022. For most of 2022, Petrucci was based in Scranton, Pennsylvania, U.S., riding a Ducati Panigale V4R in the AMA Superbike Championship series, finishing second at the last event in September. The 2016 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 68th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Danny Kent was the reigning series champion but did not defend his title as he joined the series' intermediate class, Moto2. The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near Ventnor, on Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia. The current circuit was first used in 1956. History Road circuit Motor racing on Phillip Island began in 1928 with the running of the 100 Miles Road Race, an event which has since become known as the first Australian Grand Prix. 2019 MotoGP Season
The 2019 FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing, MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 71st Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, F.I.M.
