2019 Liga 1 Putri
The 2019 Liga 1 Putri season was the inaugural season of Liga 1 Putri, the top-flight Indonesian league for women's association football. The season started on 5 October 2019 and finished with two-legged finals on 22 and 28 December 2019. Persib Putri won the title after defeating TIRA-Persikabo Kartini 6–1 on aggregate. Teams Ten teams competed in the league. From the 18 current men's Liga 1 teams, eight didn't field a women's team. Note: Flags indicate national team as has been defined under FIFA eligibility rules. Players and coaches may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality. Schedule and venue The schedule of the competition was as follows: Notes: Group stage The draw for the group stage was held on 8 September 2019 at the Hotel Sultan in Jakarta. Liga 1 Putri
The Liga 1 Putri (English: ''Women's League One''), is the top-flight women's football league in Indonesia. Supervised by the PSSI, the league is participated by ten clubs, with each side fielding a team in the Liga 1 men's league. The league's inaugural season began on 5 October 2019. History On 25 July 2019, during a general assembly meeting with all Liga 1 club representative in Jakarta, Acting Chairperson of PSSI Iwan Budianto announced the formation of the new Liga 1 Putri. From 2006, the Pertiwi Cup was Indonesia's top women's association football competition. However compared to the Liga 1 Putri, the Pertiwi Cup was contested by Indonesian provincial selection teams and not by clubs. The league was formed as a means to aid the selection of players for the Indonesian women's national team and so that the competition between boys and girls is balanced. Founded in 2019, the club is affiliated with men's professional association football club PSM Makassar. It currently plays in the Liga 1 Putri, the top women's league in Indonesia. History In July 2019, PSM Makassar announced their commitment to take part in the inaugural season of Liga 1 Putri, a first professional women's football competition in Indonesia and formed 25 players including 3 players taken from Palembang, Indonesia. Satrio Pratomo
Satrio (28 May 1916 – 5 May 1986) was an Indonesian military doctor. He served as Minister of Health during the Guided Democracy period, between 1959 and 1966, and as General Chairman of the Indonesian Red Cross between 1970 and 1982. A graduate of the Batavia Medical College during the Japanese occupation period, Satrio was an early member of the Indonesian Red Cross during the Indonesian National Revolution, active in Jakarta, Banten and West Java as a military doctor. After the revolution, he continued his career as an army doctor until his appointment as health minister. After a seven-year ministerial tenure, he returned to military service before heading the Indonesian Red Cross.
