2019 Italian Basketball Supercup
The 2019 Italian Basketball Supercup ( it, Supercoppa di pallacanestro 2018), also known as Zurich Connect Supercoppa 2019 for sponsorship reasons, was the 25th edition of the super cup tournament, organized by the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). AX Armani Exchange Milano were the defending champions. Banco di Sardegna Sassari went to win his 2nd Supercup by beating Umana Reyer Venezia 83–80 in the Finals. Curtis Jerrells was named MVP of the competition. It was played at the PalaFlorio arena in Bari on 21 and 22 September 2019. 2019 LBA Finals
The 2019 LBA Finals was the championship series of the 2018–19 regular season, of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), known for sponsorship reasons as the Serie A PosteMobile, the highest professional basketball league in Italy, and the conclusion of the season's playoffs. The third placed Umana Reyer Venezia possessed home advantage (with the first two, the fifth and the seventh games at the Palasport Taliercio) and the 4th placed Banco di Sardegna Sassari contested for the title in a best-of-7 showdown, from June 10 to June 22, 2019. These were the second Finals for both Venezia and Sassari of their history. Umana Reyer Venezia won their 4th title by beating Banco di Sardegna Sassari in game 7 of the finals. Adrian Gerard Banks (born February 9, 1986) is an American-Israeli professional basketball player for Treviso Basket of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). Mitchell Watt (born December 14, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Reyer Venezia of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroCup. He played college basketball for the University at Buffalo, where he was an All-American and Mid-American Conference (MAC) player of the year. Austin Darren Daye (born June 5, 1988) is an American professional basketball player who plays for New Taipei Kings of the P. League+. He played college basketball for Gonzaga before being drafted 15th overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2009 NBA draft.
