2019 International GT Open
The 2019 International GT Open was the fourteenth season of the International GT Open, the grand tourer-style sports car racing series founded in 2006 by the Spanish GT Sport Organización. It began on 27 April at Le Castellet and will finish on 12 October, at Monza after seven double-header meetings. Entry List Race calendar and results * A seven-round provisional calendar was revealed on 22 September 2018. The schedule will feature six circuits from 2018 calendar, while Estoril will be dropped in favor of Hockenheimring. The date of the Spa round was altered on 29 November 2018. On 1 February 2019, Hungaroring were replaced by Red Bull Ring, and 2019 International GT Open Round 4 moved to 13–14 July. 2019 Euroformula Open Championship
The 2019 Euroformula Open Championship was a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seat open wheel formula racing cars that held across Europe. The championship features drivers competing in two-litre Formula Three racing cars built by Italian constructor Dallara which conform to the technical regulations, or formula, for the championship. It was the sixth Euroformula Open Championship season. For the first time since its inception, the championship featured multiple power unit manufacturers, allowing the use of Mercedes and Volkswagen engines. It was intended to have equalised performance of the powerplants, in terms of both power and torque like in the GT3 racing. But the equalisation was not successful as the teams that used Toyota engine which was tuned by Piedrafita had a lack of power in comparison with Mercedes and Volkswagen engines. Alessio Rovera
Alessio Rovera (born 22 June 1995) is an Italian Auto racing, racing driver. Career Early career After starting out in Italian junior racing formulas, Rovera entered the Formula Renault Eurocup in 2014 and competed there for Cram Motorsport. With 65 championship points and three podium finishes, he finished the season in sixth place in the final standings (master Nyck de Vries ahead of Charles Leclerc and Matevos Isaakyan). Federico Leo
Federico Leo (born August 27, 1988, in Varese) is an Italian racing driver. Career Formula Junior Leo began his single–seater career in late 2005 in the Italian Formula Junior 1600 Winter series, scoring nine points to finish 13th in the standings. The following year he took part in a full season in the category, recording one podium finish to be classified in 12th place. Fabian Schiller
Fabian Schiller (born 24 May 1997) is a German racing driver who currently competes in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Career Junior formula Schiller began his racing career in karting at the age of 12, competing in the ADAC Kart Masters series. In 2012, he began competing in single-seater formula cars, taking part in the Formula BMW Talent Cup. The following season, Schiller stepped up to compete in the ADAC Formel Masters championship, competing for the Schiller Motorsport team run by his father and uncle. He would finish 11th in his first season in the competition, scoring his first victory at the Lausitzring. After two years of competition and three race victories in the series, Schiller graduated to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, signing with Team West-Tec for the 2015 season. John Shoffner
John Shoffner (born July 25, 1955) is an American racing driver, investor, and pilot. In May 2021, he paid for a seat on Axiom Mission 2, the second entirely-private crew mission to the International Space Station. Shoffner served as the pilot of the Crew Dragon crew vehicle, which launched on May 21, 2023. Biography Shoffner was born in Fairbanks, Alaska. He spent most of his career in Knoxville, Tennessee. Before creating his own motorsports team J2-Racing in 2012, Shoffner was a businessman. He had a 21-year career with Kentucky-based telecommunications manufacturer Dura-Line. Thomas Michael Onslow-Cole (born 16 May 1987 in Kingston, Surrey ) is a British auto racing driver. He won the International GT Open in Pro-Am category in 2018 and in 2019 and the 24H Series in 2015. It was announced in April 2014 that he would not be returning to the British Touring Car Championship for 2014 and instead entered the British GT Championship driving in a factory-supported Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3. In 2015, Onslow-Cole won the GT3 class of the 24H Series after taking a podium at every round, including a second place at Dubai 24 Hours and a race win in the inaugural 24 Hours of Paul Ricard. Miguel Pedro Caetano Ramos (born 26 September 1971 in Porto) is a Portuguese racing driver. He is a former Spanish and Italian GT champion, and has raced in the FIA GT1 World Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2012 he races for V8 Racing, driving a Chevrolet Corvette C6.R in the International GT Open. In 2015 and 2016 he races for Teo Martín Motorsport in the International GT Open. Fabrizio Crestani (born 17 December 1987) is an Italian racing driver. Career Having competed in karts until 2005, Crestani moved up to the Formula Junior 1600 Italia championship, finishing in 4th place in the championship, driving for PSR Motorsport. Crestani had one win and finished behind Pasquale Di Sabatino, Mihai Marinescu and Jaime Alguersuari in the championship. He also made his debut in the Italian Formula Three Championship for Corbetta Competizioni at the final round at the Misano World Circuit. Jules Gounon (born 31 December 1994 in Aubenas) is an Andorran-based French professional racing driver. He is best known for his victories in the 24 Hours of Spa in 2017 and 2022 and Bathurst 12 Hour in 2020 and 2022. The Bentley Continental GT is a grand tourer manufactured and marketed by British automaker Bentley Motors since 2003. It was the first car released by Bentley under Volkswagen AG management, after the company's acquisition in 1998, and the first Bentley to employ mass production manufacturing techniques.
