The 2019 Hampton Pirates football team represented Hampton University in the 2019 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Robert Prunty
Robert Prunty is an American football coach. He is the head football coach at Hampton University, a position he has held since the 2018 season. Career Prunty was the head football coach for Gretna High School in Gretna, Virginia for several years. During his tenure, he led the program from suffering 44 consecutive losses from 1991 to 1995, to an 11–1 season in 2001. After his departure from Gretna, the program went on to win four state championships from 2003 to 2008. From Gretna, Prunty accepted a position as head football coach of Hargrave Military Academy. He was known for producing players that went on to the National Football League (NFL). Twenty-seven of Prunty's players moved up to the NFL, included two first-round draft picks; Peria Jerry and Branden Albert Branden Albert would go on to credit Hargrave for his success. Kessler Field
Kessler Stadium is a 4,200-seat football and track stadium in West Long Branch, New Jersey. It was built in 1993 and is home to the Monmouth University Hawks. Kessler Stadium underwent a renovation prior to the start of the 2017 football season that saw the seating capacity expand to more than 4,200 seats, including 800+ chair backs. A new brick facade complements the design of the OceanFirst Bank Center and the seating stretches end zone to end zone. Kessler Stadium is home to a press box and multimedia center on the third fourth, a main concourse at ground level which is home to the Brockriede Family Concessions and the Austin Family Box Office. On the second floor, the Doherty Family Deck hosts Monmouth Athletics Blue-White Club events. 2019 Presbyterian Blue Hose Football Team
The 2019 Presbyterian Blue Hose football team represented Presbyterian College in the 2019 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by third-year head coach Tommy Spangler, in his second stint as PC head coach, as he coached the Blue Hose from 2001–06. The Blue Hose played their home games at Bailey Memorial Stadium in their 13th and final season as members of the Big South Conference. They finished the season 2–10, 1–5 in Big South play to finish in a three-way tie for fifth place. PC announced in 2017 that it had started a transition to non-scholarship football. Barker–Lane Stadium
Barker–Lane Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Buies Creek, North Carolina. The stadium is located on the campus of Campbell University and hosts the school's American football and women's lacrosse programs. The stadium was scheduled to be completed in stages with the first stage to include the field, the field house, the main entrance, the bowl, seating for 5,000 spectators and necessary road realignment. Barker-Lane received a major expansion in 2013 with the construction of the West stand that increased capacity to 5,500. The newly constructed West stand includes seating for 3,000, with 867 chair back seats plus additional bleacher back seats, an tall press box, new restrooms, and new concession facilities.
