2019 Group 10 Rugby League Season
The 2019 Group 10 Rugby League season was the 73rd season of the premier rugby league competition in the Central West area of New South Wales. It was run under the auspices of the Country Rugby League. It was the seventh consecutive season to feature nine teams, after the re-admittance of the Blayney Bears in 2013. Bathurst Panthers entered the season as defending champions, after defeating Cowra Magpies 12–10 in the 2018 Premier League decider. Panthers five-eighth and goal kicker Willie Wright kicked a match-winning conversion with four minutes remaining in the decider played at Cowra's Sid Kallas Oval, sealing Panthers first Premier League title since 2007. Panthers would defend its title with a 9–8 win over Mudgee Dragons in the grand final at Carrington Park that went to extra-time. Group 10 Rugby League
Group 10 is a rugby league competition in the Central West area of New South Wales, under the auspices of the New South Wales Rugby League. It had been under the control of Country Rugby League but that changed after the NSWRL agreed to a new constitution and the CRL voted to wind up its affairs immediately. The decisions was made on 19 October 2019 and the merger means that the aim of a unified administration of the sport in NSW was achieved over a year ahead of time. Ahead of the 2022 season, the leading Group 10 and Group 11 first grade and under 18s clubs merged to form the Peter McDonald Premiership. From the 2022 season, Group 10 will only officially field reserve and women's league tag competitions, although a Group 10 Premier will still be crowned in First Grade and Under 18s, with this being the best team in the Group 10 Pool of the Peter McDonald Premiership. Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs
The Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs are an Australian rugby league football team based in Ulladulla, a coastal town in the South Coast region. The club is a part of Country Rugby League and has competed in the South Coast first grade competition since the 1930s. History The Bulldogs originally competed in the Group 16 Rugby League competition before making the switch to the South Coast during the 1930s. Their success was far from instantaneous. It took the club until 1987 to win their inaugural first-grade premiership after five decades competing in the league. They have enjoyed relatively good success, however, in recent times. Gymea Gorillas
The Gymea Gorillas Junior Rugby League Football Club is a rugby league football club that is based in the Sydney suburb of Gymea and competes in the Cronulla-Sutherland District Rugby Football League. The club is based out of Gymea where its headquarters are located and usually draws on the large majority of its junior players from that suburb and the surrounding areas of Kirrawee, Sutherland, Grays Point, Sylvania and Kareela. The Gymea Gorillas club currently fields teams from Under 6 age groups all the way up to A Grade and has produced several international players including former Australian captain Greg Pierce. Lakes United is a rugby league club based in the Newcastle, New South Wales region of Australia. Known as ''The Seagulls'' and wearing Royal blue and Gold, they have been a member of the Newcastle Rugby League since 1947. History Lakes United were successful in their first year in the Newcastle competition winning the competition in 1947. It had players selected to represent Newcastle and the Country Rugby League. The West Harbour Rugby Football Club is a team in the Shute Shield, the premier club rugby union football competition in New South Wales. The club is based in Concord, New South Wales, Concord in the Inner West of Sydney, and plays home matches at Concord Oval. The Newcastle Knights are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Newcastle, New South Wales. They compete in Australasia's premier rugby league competition, the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership. Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League
The Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League (NRRRL) is a rugby league competition run in the far north of New South Wales, Australia. It is run under the auspices of the Country Rugby League. The league formed in 2005 as an extended Group 1 Rugby League competition, featuring teams from Group 18 Rugby League. Prior to this, teams from Group 18 played in a competition with teams from the Gold Coast region of Queensland. Both Group 1 and Group 18 continue to run junior competitions.
