The 2019 Football West Season was the sixth season since the National Premier Leagues was established in Western Australia. National Premier Leagues Western Australia
The National Premier Leagues Western Australia is a regional Australian semi-professional soccer league comprising teams from Western Australia. The league name is often abbreviated to NPL Western Australia or NPL WA. As a subdivision of the National Premier Leagues, the league is the highest level of the Western Australian league system (Level 2 of the overall Australian league system). The competition is administered by Football West, the governing body of the sport in the state. In 2014, the league – formerly known as the Football West State League Premier Division – was rebranded into what exists today. South West Phoenix FC
South West Phoenix Football Club is an Australian semi-professional association football club based in Bunbury, Western Australia. The club will compete in 2023 in the Football West Amateur League Premier Division. History The first club from the Bunbury region to join the Perth-based State League was Bunbury City FC from 1979 to 1987. Bunbury Tricolore FC entered the State Amateur League in 1990, and participated there for the following 5 seasons. In 1996 they amalgamated with Ashfield to form Ashfield-Bunbury and entered the State League Division One; in 1999 this combined club won promotion to the Premier League after three seasons in Division One. The amalgamation with Ashfield was brought about mainly because of the costs involved in playing in the State League. 2019 National Premier Leagues
The 2019 National Premier Leagues was the seventh season of the Australian National Premier Leagues association football, football competition. The league competition was played by eight separate state and territory member federations. The divisions are National Premier Leagues ACT, ACT, National Premier Leagues NSW, NSW, National Premier Leagues Northern NSW, Northern NSW, National Premier Leagues Queensland, Queensland, National Premier Leagues South Australia, South Australia, National Premier Leagues Tasmania, Tasmania, National Premier Leagues Victoria, Victoria and National Premier Leagues Western Australia, Western Australia. Perth RedStar Football Club is an Australian soccer club from Joondalup, Western Australia currently playing in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia and National Premier Leagues WA Women. Their home ground is the RedStar Arena at the Joondalup campus of Edith Cowan University. History The club was formed in 1992 as Joondalup City Soccer Club and played at the Gumblossom Park in Quinns Rocks. Cockburn City SC
Cockburn City Soccer Club is an Australian soccer club currently playing in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia. They play their home games at Dalmatinac Park and train at Beale Park. History Cockburn City Soccer Club's origin goes back to 1929 when they were known as Spearwood Rovers, and after the 1964 season they amalgamated with Britannia (who had renamed a year earlier from Fremantle City) to become Cockburn United. A few months earlier, some of the Spearwood Rovers club had joined forces with Balkans Dalmatinac, to create Fremantle Dalmatinac (who were renamed Spearwood Dalmatinac in 1974). The two clubs enjoyed success in the period after, with facilities close to each other at Dalmatinac Park and Beale Park. Perth Glory FC Youth
Perth Glory Under-23s is the youth system of Perth Glory Football Club based in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. The academy teams play in the Y-League and National Premier Leagues (U20, U18, U15). Perth Glory Youth is the highest level squad within the setup. They play in the National Premier Leagues and play the majority of their home games at Hartfield Park (known for sponsorship reasons as Crazy Domains Stadium) in Forrestfield. Balcatta Etna Football Club is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in Balcatta, Perth, Western Australia. They compete in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia. History In the first year, 1978, playing at the new home ground, Reader Reserve in Hector St, Mt Yokine. Etna acquired fifth position on the ladder. In the second year, 1979, Etna finished seventh position on the ladder. In 2013 the club changed its name from Balcatta Soccer Club to Balcatta FC.
