The 2019 FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship was the 17th season of the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship, an international rally raid competition for motorbikes and quads. Calendar The calendar for the 2019 season featured four long-distance rally raid events; including one marathon event in the Silk Way Rally. Some of the events were also part of 2019 FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies. Teams and riders Results Motorbikes Quads Championship standings Riders' championship * Points for final positions were awarded as follows: In Marathon Rallies (i.e. rallies with between eight and fifteen timed stages, including a rest day), the score was multiplied by 1.5 and rounded up. Furthermore, all riders were awarded 3 bonus points for taking part in the first stage of an event; 1 bonus point for all riders taking the start of a stage (other than the first one) of a Marathon Rally; as well as 1 bonus point for each stage win. FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship
The FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship was the premier championship of Rally raid racing, organized by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), from 1999 to 2021 (from 1999 and 2002 as World Cup). Asides the main championship, there were World Cups for the following categories: Quads, Women, Junior, and over 450 cc. The Cross-Country Rallies World Championship was contested for the first time in 1999. It was organized by FIM with the aim joining in a unique calendar the numerous cross-country rallies disputed all over the world in a totally uncoordinated way. The trophy awarded in early seasons was a simple "world cup" , but the large participation of drivers since the first edition pushed the FIM to set up a few years later a real "world championship". A separate competition exists for "baja" style rally raids called the FIM Bajas World Cup. KTM 500 EXC
The KTM 500 EXC is one model in the series of 4-stroke enduro off-road motorcycle made by KTM. They are essentially the 400/450 EXCs with changes to the stroke to achieve larger displacements. The 520, 525, 530 and 500 are all in fact 510.4 cc motors given different model numbers to distinguish them. Like the other KTM enduro offerings, they vary in the set-up and components. The international EXC versions have a small headlight, speedometer, tail-light and somewhat softer linkless (PDS) rear suspension. 2007 was the first year the EXC was deemed street legal in the US.
