2019 FIBA Americas League
The 2019 FIBA Americas League was the 12th edition of the top-tier level intercontinental professional club basketball competition in the Americas and last for the FIBA Americas League. Sixteen teams from across the Americas competed over three rounds, to determine the champion. San Lorenzo (basketball), San Lorenzo won its second continental title, giving them the right to play in the 2020 FIBA Intercontinental Cup. Soles De Mexicali
The Soles de Mexicali (English: ''Mexicali Suns'') is a Mexican professional basketball team based in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, playing in the Northern Division of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP). The team was founded in 2005, and has established as one of Mexico's youngest and most successful basketball francises. They currently play their home games in the Auditorio del Estado and are getting their home auditorium remodeled to match their recent title. Club Malvín is a sports club from Montevideo, Uruguay, established on January 28, 1938, in the residential neighbourhood of Malvín. A wild card (also wildcard or wild-card and also known as an at-large berth or at-large bid) is a tournament or playoff berth awarded to an individual or team that fails to qualify in the normal way; for example, by having a high ranking or winning a qualifying stage. The 2018 Liga Sudamericana de Básquetbol (South American Basketball League) was the 23rd edition of the second-tier level continental professional club basketball competition in the Americas, the FIBA Americas League. Sixteen teams from South America competed over three rounds to determine the champion. The defending champions, Guaros de Lara, did not have the opportunity to defend their title, after the Venezuelan Basketball Federation failed to register the team in the competition, alleging financial troubles. Club San Martín De Corrientes
Club San Martín is a sports club based in Corrientes, Argentina. The basketball team currently plays in the Torneo Nacional de Ascenso (TNA), the second division of the Argentine Liga Nacional de Básquetbol league system. History San Martín was founded by some management leaders of former Club 9 de Julio, which had recently closed. Those men decided to create an institution which served as a social place where people could meet and practise sports. Originally, the club was named "Robson Tenis Club", as a homage to local tennis champion Guillermo Robson. In that assembly, Dr. Antonio Peluffo was appointed as the first president of the institution.
