2019 Denver Broncos
The 2019 season was the Denver Broncos' 50th in the National Football League (NFL) and their 60th overall. This marked the Broncos' first season under new ownership since 1984, as longtime owner Pat Bowlen died during the offseason. The team underwent numerous coaching changes following the end of the 2018 season, as Vic Fangio became the Broncos' third different head coach since 2014. After their first 0–4 start since 1999, the Broncos went 7–5 the rest of the way, finishing at 7–9 and improving on their 6–10 record from 2018; however, they missed the playoffs for a fourth consecutive season. The team struggled with poor offensive performances, ranking in the bottom five in several statistical categories. The American Football Conference – Western Division or AFC West is one of the four divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The division comprises the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers. The division has sent teams to the Super Bowl eighteen times beginning with Super Bowl I when the Chiefs played the Green Bay Packers. Rich Scangarello
Rich Scangarello (born April 15, 1972) is an American football coach who most recently was the offensive coordinator for the University of Kentucky. He was previously a quarterbacks coach for the San Francisco 49ers. He has also spent time as the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos and an assistant coach for the Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles. Ed Donatell (born February 4, 1957 in Akron, Ohio) is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). Donatell has 42 years of coaching experience, including 31 seasons in the NFL. In addition to coaching defensive backs for Broncos Head Coach Vic Fangio for eight years with the Denver Broncos (2019–21), Chicago Bears (2015–18) and San Francisco 49ers (2011–14), he has been a defensive coordinator for eight seasons with Green Bay Packers (2000–03), Atlanta Falcons (2004–06), University of Washington (2008) and the Denver Broncos (2019–21). Brandon John Staley (born December 10, 1982) is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). Mike Munchak
Michael Anthony Munchak (born March 5, 1960) is an American professional football coach and former player. A graduate of Penn State, Munchak played left guard for the Houston Oilers from 1982 until 1993 and was a nine-time selection to the Pro Bowl. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001. After his retirement, Munchak continued his association with the Houston franchise by becoming an assistant coach. He joined the staff in 1994 as an offensive assistant and quality control coach and stayed with the franchise after it moved to Tennessee and became known as the Tennessee Titans, eventually becoming its offensive line coach in 1997 and serving in that position for 14 years.
