2019 Allsvenskan
The 2019 Allsvenskan, part of the 2019 Swedish football season, was the 95th season of Allsvenskan since its establishment in 1924. A total of 16 teams participated. AIK were the defending champions after winning the title in the previous season. Djurgårdens IF won the Allsvenskan title, their first since 2005, their 8th overall and their 12th Swedish championship overall, in the 30th and final round on 2 November 2019 by playing a 2–2 tie in their away fixture against IFK Norrköping. This was also the second consecutive year that a team from Stockholm clinched the title. Allsvenskan
Allsvenskan (; en, the All-Swedish, also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan, en, the Football All-Swedish) is a Swedish professional league for men's association football clubs. It was founded in 1924 and is the top tier of the Swedish football league system, operating on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan. Seasons run from late March or early April to the beginning of November, with the 16 clubs all meeting each other twice, resulting in a 30-match season, for a total of 240 matches league-wide. Allsvenskan is ranked 23rd in the UEFA coefficients of leagues based on performances in European competitions over the last five years. 2020 Allsvenskan
The 2020 Allsvenskan, part of the 2020 Swedish football season, was the 96th season of Allsvenskan since its establishment in 1924. A total of 16 teams participated. Djurgårdens IF were the defending champions after winning the title in the previous season. The 2020 Allsvenskan season was scheduled to begin on 4 April and end on 8 November 2020 (not including play-off matches), but due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden the opening games of the season were delayed. On 4 June 2020, the Swedish government and the Public Health Agency of Sweden announced that the travel restrictions within Sweden were lifted. There were therefore no restrictions that were prohibiting resuming league play in Sweden and the Swedish Football Association announced, also on 4 June 2020, that the 2020 Allsvenskan season would resume on 14 June 2020. The 2017 Allsvenskan, part of the 2017 Swedish football season, is the 93rd season of Allsvenskan since its establishment in 1924. The season began on 1 April 2017 and ended on 5 November the same year. Fixtures for the 2017 season were announced on 9 December 2016. A total of 16 teams participated. Trelleborgs Fotbollsförening, more commonly known as Trelleborgs FF or simply Trelleborg, is a Swedish football club located in Trelleborg. Formed 6 December 1926, the club plays in Superettan, the second tier in the Swedish Football system. Trelleborgs FF has participated 17 times in Allsvenskan and once in the UEFA Cup where the team eliminated Blackburn Rovers in the 1994–1995 season. Dalkurd Fotbollsförening, commonly known as Dalkurd FF or simply Dalkurd () is a Swedish football club based in Uppsala. The club plays in the Ettan Norra, which is the third tier of football in the country. On 26 September 2004, the club was originally founded by members of the Kurdish diaspora in Borlänge, Dalarna. On 24 November 2017, Dalkurd chose to move their senior team operations to Uppsala, some 140 kilometers southeast of Borlänge, where they will play at the new ground Nya Studenternas IP following its opening in 2020. IK Sirius, more commonly known simply as Sirius, is a Swedish football club located in Uppsala. The club is affiliated to the Upplands Fotbollförbund. Idrottsföreningen Elfsborg, more commonly known as IF Elfsborg or simply Elfsborg (), is a professional football club based in Borås, Sweden, and is affiliated to the Västergötlands Fotbollförbund. Helsingborgs IF (full name Helsingborgs Idrottsförening), commonly referred to as HIF (), is a Swedish professional football club located in Helsingborg. They play in the Swedish first tier, Allsvenskan, following promotion in the 2021 Superettan season via play-offs.
