2019 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament
The 2019 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament was an edition of the Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament, a cricket tournament in Afghanistan. It was the third edition of the competition to be played with first-class status. The tournament was split into two phases, with the first half of the competition taking place in April and May 2019, and the second half taking place during November and December 2019. Six regional teams competed in the tournament, with Band-e-Amir Region being the defending champions. The first round of the tournament started on 4 April 2019 and finished on 2 May 2019. Following the conclusion of the first round of fixtures, Speen Ghar Region were leading the tournament, finishing three points ahead of Amo Region. Kabul Region did not take part in the second round of matches in the tournament. Afghanistan Cricket Board
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB; ps, د افغانستان کرکټ بورډ, fa, کرکت بورد افغانستان; formerly Afghanistan Cricket Federation) is the official governing body of cricket in the Afghanistan. It is Afghanistan's representative at the International Cricket Council (ICC) and was an associate member of ICC from June 2013 until becoming a full member in June 2017. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Rahmanullah Gurbaz ( ps, رحمان الله ګربز; born 28 November 2001) is an Afghan cricketer. He made his international debut for Afghanistan in September 2019. Ghazi Amanullah Khan Town ( ps, غازي امان الله خان ښارګوټی) is a planned community located next to the Kabul–Jalalabad Road roughly southeast of Jalalabad in Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan. The town is named after Amanullah Khan, who was the modernizing Emir of Afghanistan from 1919 to 1929. His mausoleum is in the city of Jalalabad.
