2018–19 Y-League
The 2018–19 Y-League season (also known as the 2018–19 Foxtel Y-League season for sponsorship reasons) was the eleventh season of the Australian Y-League, the premier national competition for youth football in the country. Teams The competition featured the same ten teams as the previous season: Conference A Conference A contains teams from outside of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. Y-League
A-League Youth, formerly known as the National Youth League and Y-League, is an Australian national soccer youth developmental and under-21s league, founded by Football Federation Australia and now run by the Australian Professional Leagues. The current league was established as a successor to the previous competition of the National Youth League (1984–2004) and commenced in August 2008. The league runs in conjunction with the A-League Men as a developmental or reserve league. The league, as well as the A-League Men and A-League Women are administered by the Australian Professional Leagues. In 2020 it was contested by ten teams, all of which competed in the A-League. From the 2020–21 season, the league was to expand to eleven teams with the introduction of Western United, however the season was cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia. Marden Sports Complex
Marden Sports Complex is a multi-use stadium in Marden, South Australia. It is mainly used for soccer and is the home ground for National Premier League side Adelaide Blue Eagles. It was also used for the 2004 OFC Nations Cup and the 2006 AFC Women's Asian Cup. The stadium was built in 2000 and has a capacity of 6,000 people. It was co-host to the group stage of the 2004 OFC Nations Cup alongside Hindmarsh Stadium, with Marden hosting five games including one Socceroos match, a 6–1 win over Fiji featuring a Tim Cahill hattrick. Two years later the stadium hosted one match of the 2006 AFC Women's Asian Cup, a 5–0 win by the Matildas against Thailand. Newcastle Jets Youth is the youth system of Newcastle Jets Football Club based Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. The academy teams play in the A-League Youth, NSW League Two (in youth team & U20) and Football NSW Youth League Two (U18, U16, U15, U14 & U13 age brackets). Youth team history The team was founded in 2008, as a Newcastle Jets representative team for the inaugural season of the National Youth League/Y-League/A-League Youth competition. Central Coast Mariners Academy
The Central Coast Mariners Academy (CCMA) is the youth system of Central Coast Mariners FC based in , Australia. The academy teams play the Y-League and the National Premier Leagues, the highest level of youth football in Australia. Senior players occasionally play in the academy side, as in the case when they're recovering from injury. Ray Junna is the current academy manager. They train at the Central Coast Mariners Centre of Excellence and play the majority of their home games there. On occasion, they also play at Pluim Park. Dorrien Gardens is a sports ground in West Perth, Western Australia primarily used for soccer. It is the home ground of Perth SC.
