The 2018–19 Syracuse Orange men's basketball team represented Syracuse University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Orange, led by 43rd-year head coach Jim Boeheim, played their home games at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York as sixth-year members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Syracuse received a bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, 2019 NCAA men's basketball tournament as the number eight seed in the West region, where they lost in the round of 64 to ninth seeded Baylor Bears basketball, Baylor. Jim Boeheim
James Arthur Boeheim Jr. ( ; born November 17, 1944) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach of the Syracuse Orange men's team of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Boeheim has guided the Orange to ten Big East Conference regular season championships, five Big East tournament championships, and 34 NCAA tournament appearances, including five Final Four appearances and three appearances in the national title game. In those games, the Orangemen lost to Indiana in 1987 on a last-second jump shot by Keith Smart, and to Kentucky in 1996, before defeating Kansas in 2003 with All-American Carmelo Anthony. 2017–18 TCU Horned Frogs Men's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team represented Texas Christian University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, led by head coach Jamie Dixon in his second season at TCU. The Horned Frogs competed as members of the Big 12 Conference and played their home games at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. They finished the season 21–12, 9–9 in Big 12 play to finish in fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 tournament to Kansas State. Quincy Guerrier (born May 13, 1999) is a Canadian college basketball player for the Oregon Ducks men's basketball, Oregon Ducks of the Pac-12 Conference. Joseph Girard III
Joseph Girard III (born November 27, 2000) is an American college basketball player for the Clemson Tigers of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). He played for Glens Falls High School in New York, where he became the state's all-time leading scorer. As a senior in high school, Girard earned Mr. New York Basketball honors and was named MaxPreps Athlete of the Year for his success in basketball and football. Jackson Thomas "Buddy" Boeheim (born November 11, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Motor City Cruise of the NBA G League. The Siena Saints men's basketball team (formerly the Siena Indians) represents Siena College in Loudonville, New York, United States.
