2018–19 Oregon State Beavers Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Oregon State Beavers men's basketball team represented Oregon State University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Beavers, led by fifth-year head coach Wayne Tinkle, played their home games at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon as members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 18–13, 10–8 in Pac-12 play to finish in a three way tie for fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 tournament to Colorado. Despite having 18 wins and a winning conference record they failed to get an invitation to the National Invitation Tournament and also ruled out of the College Basketball Invitational. Wayne Tinkle
Wayne Francis Tinkle II (born January 26, 1966) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach of the Oregon State Beavers men's team of the Pac-12 Conference. Prior to his arrival in Corvallis in 2014, he was the head coach for eight seasons in the Big Sky Conference at his alma mater, Montana, preceded by five years with the Griz as an assistant coach. Tinkle played professionally for twelve seasons until 2000, including stints in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) and International Basketball League (IBL) and in Sweden, Spain, Italy, and Greece. JaQuori McLaughlin
JaQuori McLaughlin (born January 29, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Otago Nuggets of the New Zealand National Basketball League (NZNBL). He played college basketball for the Oregon State Beavers and the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos. High school career McLaughlin attended Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor, Washington. He averaged 19.3 points, 9.1 assists and 5.5 steals per game as a senior and was named Washington Mr. Basketball. McLaughlin left as the school's all-time leader in points, assists and three-pointers. Kendal Allen Manuel (born September 13, 1997) is an American-Mozambican professional basketball player for Union Tarbes-Lourdes Pyrénées Basket of the Nationale Masculine 1. He played college basketball for the Oregon State Beavers and Montana Grizzlies. Early life and high school career Manuel was born in Billings, Montana but moved to Mozambique in his youth. His family later lived in Maine, Florida and New Orleans before moving back to Montana. He attended Skyview High School in Billings. Idaho Vandals Men's Basketball
The Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represents the University of Idaho, located in Moscow, Idaho, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They currently compete in the Big Sky Conference. The Vandals are currently coached by Zac Claus and play home games at the new Idaho Central Credit Union Arena. Troutdale is a city in Multnomah County, Oregon, United States, immediately north of Gresham and east of Wood Village. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 15,962.
