2018–19 Lamar Lady Cardinals Basketball Team
: ''For information on all Lamar University sports, see Lamar Cardinals and Lady Cardinals'' The 2018–19 Lamar Lady Cardinals basketball team represented Lamar University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lady Cardinals, led by sixth year head coach Robin Harmony, played their home games at the Montagne Center as members of the Southland Conference.The Lady Cardinals finished the 2018–19 season with an overall record of 24-7. They won the Southland Conference regular season championship were 17-1 in Southland play. After losing to Abilene Christian in the Southland Conference tournament semi-final game 79-88, the Lady Cardinals were an automatic qualifier to the WNIT. Their season ended with a first round 71-73 loss to the South Alabama in the first round. The loss ended a 42 home court win streak which started on November 16, 2016. Lamar Cardinals And Lady Cardinals
The Lamar Cardinals and Lady Cardinals (variously Cardinals or Cards) refers to the college athletics teams of Lamar University, in Beaumont, Texas. The Cardinals and Lady Cardinals teams compete in seventeen NCAA Division I sports as a member of the Southland Conference. The Cardinals rejoined the Southland after spending the 2021–22 athletic year in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). General history The school has participated in practically every level of collegiate athletics from its inception as a junior college in 1923 to its realization as a university in 1971. The newest teams are the reinstated football team, which returned in 2010 and Women's softball, which returned in the 2013 season. The adoption of the nickname "Cardinals" dates back to the school's name change to Lamar in 1932. Karen J. Wagner High School is a high school in unincorporated Bexar County, Texas, United States. It is operated by the Judson Independent School District. The school has a San Antonio address but is not within the San Antonio city limits. The school was named after Lieutenant Colonel Karen J. Lauderhill, officially the City of Lauderhill, is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States. As of the 2020 census,the city's population was 74,482. It is a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area, which was home to an estimated 6,012,331 people in 2015. Etymology The development that eventually came to be known as Lauderhill was originally to be named "Sunnydale", but William Safire, a friend of the developer, Herbert Sadkin, convinced him to change his mind. Safire felt that "Sunnydale" sounded like a neighborhood in Brooklyn. Sadkin said there were no hills in the new town, to which Safire replied, "There are probably no dales in Lauderdale, either!" Nova High School is a public high school located in Davie, Florida and is part of the Broward County Public Schools district. It is one of four schools that comprise the Nova Center for Applied Research and Professional Development, the others being Nova Eisenhower Elementary School, Nova Blanche Forman Elementary School, and Nova Middle School. Nova Eisenhower Elementary, the newest of the three lower schools, began in downtown Ft.
