The 2018–19 Japan Figure Skating Championships were held on December 20–24, 2018 in Osaka. It was the 87th edition of the event. Single Skating
Single skating is a discipline of figure skating in which male and female skaters compete individually. Men's singles and women's singles are governed by the International Skating Union (ISU). Figure skating is the oldest winter sport contested at the Olympics, with men's and women's single skating appearing as two of the four figure skating events at the London Games in 1908. Single skaters are required to perform two segments in all international competitions, the short program and the free skating program. Sōta Yamamoto
is a Japanese figure skater. He is the 2022–23 Grand Prix Final silver medalist, a two-time silver medalist on the Grand Prix circuit ( 2022 Grand Prix de France; 2022 NHK Trophy) and the 2018 CS Asian Open Trophy champion. Yuto Kishina (born October 15, 2001) is a Japanese figure skater. He is the 2020 Bavarian Open bronze medalist. Early life Yuto Kishina was born on October 15, 2001, in Asakuchi, Okayama, Japan. Yuma Kagiyama
is a Japanese figure skater. He is the 2022 Olympic silver medalist, a two-time World silver medalist (2021, 2022), the 2020 Four Continents bronze medalist, and a three-time Japanese national bronze medalist ( 2019–20, 2020–21, 2021–22). Free Skating
The free skating segment of figure skating, also called the free skate and the long program, is the second of two segments of competitions, skated after the short program.
