2018–19 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2018–19 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 28th top level football club competitions since the fall of the Soviet Union and the eleventh since the establishment of the Ukrainian Premier League. The tournament started on 21 July 2018 with the competition set to end on 25 May 2019. The league took its winter intermission after Round 18 on 8 December 2018 and resumed its competition of the Championship with Round 19 on 16 February 2019. The first stage ended with Round 22 games on 17 March 2019. The draw for the second stage was announced for 5 March 2019. The defending champion is the 11-times winner Shakhtar Donetsk. 2018–19 UEFA Europa League Knockout Phase
The 2018–19 UEFA Europa League knockout phase began on 12 February and ended on 29 May 2019 with the 2019 UEFA Europa League Final, final at the Baku Olympic Stadium, Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan, to decide the champions of the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League. Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaker, tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals "Road (sports), away from home" wins. FC Zorya Luhansk ( uk, ФК «Зоря» Луганськ ) is a Ukrainian football team. Zorya Luhansk is based in the city of Luhansk, Ukraine. However, because of the Russo-Ukrainian War, the team play their games at Slavutych-Arena in Zaporizhzhia.
