2018–19 Florida Atlantic Owls Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Florida Atlantic Owls men's basketball team represented Florida Atlantic University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Owls, led by first-year head coach Dusty May, played their home games at the FAU Arena in Boca Raton, Florida as members of Conference USA. Previous season The Owls finished the 2017–18 season 12–19, 6–12 in C-USA play to finish in a tie for 11th place. They lost in the first round of the C-USA tournament to UAB. March 16, 2018, head coach Michael Curry was fired after four seasons at Florida Atlantic. On March 22, it was announced that the school had hired Florida assistant head coach Dusty May as head coach. May Coaching career After graduating from Eastern Greene High School in Indiana in 1995, May served as a student manager at Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball, Indiana under Bob Knight as an undergraduate from 1996 to 2000. After graduation, he had video and administrative roles with both USC Trojans men's basketball, USC and Indiana before landing his first assistant coaching job at Eastern Michigan Eagles men's basketball, Eastern Michigan, where he was on staff for the 2005–2006 season. May then had subsequent stops at Murray State Racers men's basketball, Murray State, and UAB Blazers men's basketball, UAB, where he served under former Indiana head coach Mike Davis (basketball, born 1960), Mike Davis. Wright State Raiders Men's Basketball
The Wright State Raiders men's basketball is the men's college basketball team that represents Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio. The school's team currently competes in the Horizon League at the NCAA Division I level. The Raiders won their only national championship in 1983 as an NCAA Division II school. They have made a total of four NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament appearances. The Raiders play their home games at the Nutter Center and are led by head coach Scott Nagy.
